  1. If you are interested, please PM me to try and collect it before Apr 11th. The bass won't be for sale after that.
  2. Selling this bass as I am switching gears. It is a limited SR sold in 2020, similar to an SR2605, but with upgraded specs, including a 15-piece neck, roasted maple fingerboard, poplar burl top, matched headstock, and wooden pickup covers. It's a great bass with solid B string and the sound fits many genres. The headstock finish is chiped, and there are a few dinks on the bottom of the body, but those dinks are barely visible. Full specs here: https://ibanez.fandom.com/wiki/SR5PBLTD Comes with an Ibanez gig bag. Strung with Elixir strings. Pickup in London only. Edit April 2nd: Fret edges are rounded, string action can be set to very low, although I followed Patitucci and Gwizdala and intentionally set them high. Smooth neck, stiff knobs. Weighs 4kg. At this price point it's very hard to find a bass with better specs. I'm selling it at £675 before I move houses on Apr 11th. Otherwise I'll travel with it and close this ad.
  3. would you consider posting to London
  4. I'm not a fan of the Korean Spector body shapes, Euro 5 seems great (but is 34" though?).
  5. Thanks I'll try a Thumb sometime. Love the tight rear pickup sound. I never tried any 36 inch basses. I assume at least it would be easier get use to compared to a Dingwall.
  6. Hi all, I'm currently eyeing a used 5 string bass at 1-2k price range for playing in a djent/metalcore band. Having searched around, it seems the best options are: - Dingwall NG2/NG3 - Overwater Progress 36-inch - Some basses with great remark for their low B string (Lakland 5502, Ibanez BTB) - Some mobern models (Ibanez EHB) Tuning would be either standard or dropping by a whole step. I wonder what you think about these options? And could anyone share your experience with 36-inch basses? I have never tried one, and comparison videos seem quite rare. Thank you.
  7. Did he reopen the business? I'm quite interested in the 2-string basses he built. Great value for price too imo.
  8. Could anyone who knows about this product help me with this - The guitar/bass sound is not picked up very well by the phone unless played really hard, and it sounds like a noise threshold gate is applied, and when volume is below threshold, all sounds are muted out? I'm trying to record bass on my Samsung S22 using the default camera app. Phone is connected via 3.5mm-USBc cable, and the Roland mixer is powered by USB-USBc cable by another device.
  9. Hi, are you interested in a trade for an Ibanez SR5PBLTD? I am located in SE London.
