  1. Yes, but the effect is that the basses become more prominent, which I think was the original point that someone made.
  2. I wondered if anyone would spot that 😝. Well spotted, and thanks for pointing it out.
  3. Not an acoustic expert, but just looking at the graph: at 1KHz the boost is 92.5 to 95dB, ie 2.5dB, but at 100Hz its 97.5 to 103dB, so a boost of around 5.5dB, and at 60Hz you're getting over 5dB boost. So yes, you do a boost all over, but it does seem to be greater in the bass end. Please correct me if I'm missing something. ** Corrected to 5dB - Thanks Barkin!
  4. Not had much of a bass playing career as such, but this is my conclusion as well.- and the punters reallycan't tell the difference/ don't give Shlt.
  5. I always thought that this was needed, so glad to see someone's done it. But at that price - perhaps not.
  6. But not in the corridor
  7. Perhaps Tinitus man was being sarcastic?
  8. I thought it just sounded dire. Mainly due to PJ herself.
  9. I find that very hard to believe Tim.
  10. You could do a lot worse than listen to some Andy Fraser or Neil Murray.
  11. In the old days perhaps, but hammerite is a shodow of its former self these days.😉😉
  12. If only it didn't have that one string missing.
  13. Why not just put a CD on and everyone go to the pub?
  14. Come on man. Spit it out. Tell us what you really think!
  15. Well, I didn't know that Johnny Vegas played drums!
  16. Me too. You beat me to it.
  17. I guess that when I said twaddle I meant that i just find that sort of thing leaves me totally cold, same goes for Michael Manring's stuff. More of a Norman Watt-Roy type myself (and no I can't play that either).
  18. All very clever, but twaddle. And no, I couldn't do it.
  19. Peter Gunn, if you're prpared to go above the 5th fret!
  20. WHy does a-r-s-e get chaged to Franch when there is a perfectly good english word it could be changed to. However Kick up the bottom (or derriere) does not quite convey the same meaning as "kick up the A-r-s-e"
  21. Four Way Street is one of my favourite albums. Love the transition from "Find the Cost of Freedom" into "Ohio".
  22. Lets face it, if it wasn't for the drummer that band would be absolutely nothing.
