I have always thought that making the headstock a miniature version of the body shape could look quite 'cool'.

I have a Roland Basscube 100, which is probably bigger than you'd want, but if the 60 & 20 are anything like it then try one/get one.

Seems fine to me. People who like Cliff will love it. Good to see him out performing at 75, especially after the debacle over the last year or so.

Just noticed this myself and was going to make highlight the fact, but you've beaten me to it. The price he paid was slightly below what I'd have expected, but still a considerable sum for the charity. Seems odd he knew that 2 weeks ago it was worth less than £600 on the open market, and now he thinks someone will pay over twice that in the same market place. £1300 is way too much however, so I find myself hoping that it doesn't sell for anywhere near his asking price. - and I won't be buying any camera equipment off him knowing his mark ups!!

I had an A Style bridge off them (16mm spacing so no rails between the saddles). Took an absolute age to come (I think they quoted a month and it took three)and when it did come the saddle location grooves did not line up with the grub screws. I was really pissed off, but they did get a replacement (which was perfect) to me very quickly. It then turned out that I had a problem with the height range but, becaus eof the earlier problem, they custom made a chrome plated spacer for me FOC. So, dodgy quality control followed by excellent remedial service.

I once saw a single person use a looper to create a full band sound live on stage. All very clever, but dull as sh*t. Give me a real band any time. If you need to use a looper to get the effect VERY occasionally, then fine, but most people (i.e me) want to see a live band!

If your a 4/5 piece band play stuff that a 4/5 piece band can play without a backing track. Either adapt the songs to the 4/5 pice line up or play something else. (In my own 'ever so 'umble' opinion, of course)

Currently the Ibanez 605. Though I'm hoping this will be usurped by the recently acquired Warwick Rock bass medium scale Corvette. The others don't really get a look in, so I should be selling some really.

Norman Watt-Roy. If I could choose to be able to play like anyone it would be him.

It's actually a US built Urge Mk1 - (32" scale). These are great instruments. I bought one about 4 years ago for £600, and considered that a bargain. Someone here should buy this. And it looks like MSHtrading are legitimate (MSH = Mary Stevens Hospice). http://www.mshtrading.co/

I'd say that you should stop any further movement before you bother to sand it down/refinish it.
