  1. The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway - Genesis
  2. @KiOgon Have one of your VT P Looms, and one of your VBT Jazz Looms. Can you explain in regard to Pot Value and 'Grounded' or 'Ungrounded' on the Blend. I find the 'Blend' fairly abrupt for and aft... but might just be me. Not a moan - but maybe worth informing the masses with your knowledge?
  3. Sound like Fish Tails... rather than Elephant Ears...
  4. Three Times Enough - Nine Below Zero (Mark Feltham, Great Harmonica Playing)
  5. Check out Vanson on the bay... I likes there Full Dome Knobs rather than the slight dome or flat types. but mine are push on. Chrome on the P, Black on the J and another set of Chrome for my Rick-o-like. Nice weight, feel 'n finish... mid price. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-x-NEW-Vanson-Domed-Knobs-for-TL-guitar-Push-On-Chrome-Black-or-Gold-VP001-/120883790899?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0 Solid Shaft n Screw - Fannar! They got a couple of diamiters but listed as 5.9mm Metrick not 1/4" US Fender... drop him a line.
  6. Arai looks like everything else... Nowt Special... Ibby looks like a blast from the past with a classic touch of class, just look at that headstock. Needs a matching set of knobs and Flats... Nice EDIT: Ah... i see the knobs should be like that (pics in post below)
  7. ^ Luverly corner noodler.... I wouldn't of been able to say no either... Elfin £90ish. Orange stripe down the middle, from neck to bridge... Gulf GT40 colours... Go great with the STP sticker!
  8. Scotchbrite Pad... Loads on Youtube... For naptha, use lighter fluid a couple of quid... Find a cheap bit of lacquered or varnished furniture out a charity shop and feel and see how the pad works as a test. Mask the neck heel and headstock tapper and along the fretboard edges...
  9. 0000 Wire Wool or 3000 Grit... 'n go steady.
  10. Most basic... and near indestructable EHX Headphone amp @ £40.... Zoom B1on / B1Four are great... (I've got an EHX and a B1on) The Yam Session Cakes also crop up cheap on the bay. Down to budget... But keep clear of the plug-in Vox-Amp type Bug thingies that hang out ya jack socket... they are noisy and break at the plug... and you will end up wanting and needing to buy something else.
  11. and maybe some better feet for the cab...
  12. 5 - 6 hr / 300 mil return trip.... £50 in juice... If it were local it would be mine... God knows what i'd do with it but it would be in the lounge just to look at when there is F all on the telly...
  13. Velcro Dots on the feet... or take the feet of and a velcro strip... ala pedal board.
  14. 55-The Law - Screamin' Blue Messiahs...
  15. How much is that Doggy in the window? - Various
  16. I see there is another free download on Intonation and Issues... Thanks for sharing... I'll downliad and drop Haze a note of thanks.
  17. Thanks - happy with the outcome with general tools... no fret files. Learned a bit from 'Nutting' the acoustic i got. Was looking at getting a brass nut, but thought i'd give a 'build up' a go... Still got to strip the J Bitsa down and have a go at the Neon Hydro-Dip paint job when the weather warms up... And my Rick-o-like has just been shipped, so waiting on that, which i expect will need a little fettle...
  18. The nut slots on my J Bitsa neck were a bit low, particularly the A and D... giving a buzz when played open... So finaly got around to doing something about it. Seen the 'ol Super Glue and Bi Carb mentioned and vids on Youtube, so gave it a go. Masked it up... Mixed it up... Built it up... Sanded Flat... Slotted with Needle Files Sanded the slots smooth and pencil lead to lube... Sorted! You can make out the 'Clearer Build Up'... If in doubt give it a go!
  19. Borris The Spider - The Who... (Double Points - Title & Artist?)
