After doing the Jazz Bitsa, I'm thinking of going back to the P Bitsa and Tele-ing its head... just to make an increase to the difference in appearance... might need a very slightly wider 'long bump' for a little wood under the string tree... same style string tree as @Cuzzie Got some spare decals... Yay or Nay?

Haven't got £75ish to spend on a bridge to go on to a £200 Bass. I quite like the traditional chunky look of the Rick-o-like bridge and will shim the center sadles. If i don't get on with it i might go for a cheap high mass type, or If a secondhand Scaller or Hipshot Rick comes up, maybe, but they are never cheap. As for the heel... body is unstained and a satin finish, so could get a bit of reprofiling if over troublesome.

So... not exactly to the spec 'n pics i sent... but near enough and negotiated a bit of a discount 😉 some pics of the finished article... I now think the 'Toasters' look better than Plain covers... Love the plain fretboard and colour... And from the back... Nice Thru Neck Stripe. What do you recon?... plain 'n simple... And so begins the month wait of shipping...

Depends what ya can afford to loose... 😉 Also watch out for any other thin conductive screening or wrap that might be around the inner insulator and betweem the braid...

If ya handy with a soldering iron... i'd cut an inch or two off each end, or past any strain relief... and solder the plugs back on... worth a go...

How about one of those little class D types (Elf / BAM) and twin cabs 2 x12"? Plugged in to one cab for half the power and half size with the Folkies... stick on another cab for full power for the Punkies... Presumably with with the punk lot it's not all in the estate car? But with 2 cabs it might be an easier lift and arrangement in the boot space.

I had the T shirt... but one of the sleeves was moved to the neck opening... nightmare to put on!

Volume drop is enevatable with VVT... hence the VBT with an (MN Taper for the blend) Backing of one of the Vols a little should improve matters....
