Glad ya kept the old one... Much Mojo!

Really Nice... Was that the old sctatchplate re-done, or did you keep that for a worn look?

If ya not tap dancing like the 6 string brethren... and dont need to be turning effects on off all the time where single pedals are easier. The approach of a set of std base (bass) setting patches in one bank... then build on these, a patch of 2 per song... can all be done on the unit but 'Snipping' and 'Setting' can via the PC or Tone Lab Phone App is also quick and simple... With the Amp n Cab sim options, i also think they can feed a mixer to PA, In Stereo if ya like... so potentially go amp free. For some these Zooms can be an all-you-need.

Huge choice of Modulation type flavours... Up to 5 effects in a row... Umpteen Banks n Patches... Build a patch per tune? Swam em about via PC Amp and Cab Sims Tuner Headphone Amp Had a B1Four but sold it on as i wanted the earlier B1On version as it has a Marshall Amp Sim.

Length of 2" x 3" ish... or 1 1/2" x 2" ish... check for balance... painted black obvs... then tucked under the front edge of ya combo... Choice of 2 angles... Doubles as a 'fending off' tool in need arises...

I'd be fair of my face... But a bit of speed would see me right. 😉 But nuts i do in metric... I think it can matter and combinations can matter more. Small/Big Hands, Long Thin/Short Fat Fingers, Narrow/Wide, Thin/Thick, Radius, Scale Length, How Low or High you where ya bass, especialy if ya get cramps, arthritic, brokem wrist from a bike prang... can all make a differeance to enjoyment of the experiance.

Thanks again for all the above, The stickers are more to get him going... his mate can shout out the chord and he can find a note... more fun on the fly... for an initial result, hopefuly that will fuel hid interest and he can then go as he likes and suites him best... He has got half an idea with notes from a cheapy keyboard for the left hand... looking at the right hand with both finger and pick... sorting his versions of The Black Keys' Gold on the Ceiling and White Stripes' Seven Nation Army... Also plays cymbals, and had a go on the snare in the boys brigade marching band, so got a bit of timing, beats n rests...

If ya want something more exotic and woody, try @bigmuff69... although i never got a response back...

Do maple necks get more stable with age?
PaulThePlug replied to 2020Jazz's topic in General Discussion

I likes an Ibby... i have 2x GSR200's and an SR600 Me? I'd have this SR750 for £250 silly money before its gone... Then sell the SR400QM on at leisure via FB, Gumtree, eBay etc. wherever, prolly for more than ya pay for the SR750... Quids In and Sorted with an Ibby Upgrade and Nordys Or keep both as the SR750 is possibly less than the cost of a pair of pickups, and possible pre and fitting.

☝️👍👏 Some encouraging stuff and fun to be had in the posts above...

the indentations may be a result of tooling, such as a drill stop depth, perhaps the fluted part of the drills for the neck holes are a certain length with a larger outer? and a little over zelously applied on those two... -
Cheers Guys... Think its gonna be Star Wars Imperial March... But he quite likes a bit of The Black Keys...

My Youngest (13) is showing an interest... His mate plays electric guitar and his dad acoustic guitar in a kids church band occasionaly. Hopefuly Marcus can join em on the root notes and take it from there... I new that Cheapy Ibby would come in handy... a few well placed stickers to help him along and make it his own... Wired both my GSRs VBT to make things easy, and left the PHAT II so he can join the 'Dark Side'... Sorted!.. Should keep him out of trouble and of the computer for a bit...

I'd hook it up to the computer and try a forced firmware type update from the Zoom site...
