  1. On wood? Like i usually post, i like the wood look, so would go No Plate, but as you have the screw holes and a plate sometimes completes the lines, i'd go for a Clear Plate or Single Ply Black if it needs to hide routing. But Why Not... a bit of fun and fits the theme of the band...
  2. #2... JJ... 4 Down, Asphixiate, from Boston... 10 Letters...
  3. Toroidal out if RS Components?... https://uk.rs-online.com/web/c/power-supplies-transformers/transformers/toroidal-transformers/ 63.2 - 0 - 63.2
  4. Dose of O'Keeffe's Working Hands stuff... (In most Chemist, Supermarkets) and those white cotton gloves overnight... Pricey but worth it, used it after cut fingers from gardening or motorcycle spannering etc. Bit stringent! https://okeeffescompany.com/products/working-hands And Soap rather than hand sanitizer... I have just rediscovered good old Coal Tar / Tea Tree Soap rather than all these hand gel and shower gel...
  5. Nice... Last pic needs to go in basschat cats... real sweet!
  6. Use mittens on the right hand for better palm muting!
  7. In a post he says something like that when initialy touching contact to something with his left had he gets a shock type jolt... with a glove there is a constant 'touch' to the fingers that aleviates the repetative touch feeling of playing. (didnt see the vid posted above...)
  8. Got a B1on... Which has the Marshall SB sim i was after... but doesn't have the TE sim of the later B1Four which sounded good. But Zooms are great bit of cheap usable kit. Remember when you started seeing TE kit on stage more... that unearthly green glow in the dark almost served as a warning before the band even came on stage!
  9. You feelin' OK? Side effects of ya second covid jab?
  10. Cheapy Chorus in the FS section... Just Sayin' 😉
  11. From all the 'Blah Blah' above, I've just treated myself to some HD206's for a whoppin' £15 from the 'bay of dreams... Gonna pass them to my Wife so the kids can give them back to me for Fathers Day... that way i'll get something i actually want, as well as the usual Toblerone, Fruit 'n Nut or Old Jamaica. Mainly to use with the Zoom B1on, the Sennheiser's have a 3m long lead so pleanty long enough to run down ya back and out the way plus over-ear cups for hopefully better sound isolation and comfort... should be a bit better than my current Sony ZX300 headphones which have a shortish lead and more on-ear cup but handy folding design to stick in a bag, fine for use with my little Sony MP3 player... but they keep getting snagged on the bass neck, strap button or fall against the strings when ya move ya head.
  12. Is that a David or Druid? Are those covers for the pots to stop dust etc? Neat Jobs... (I'm an Ex Electronics Eng)
  13. Monster Magnet More a fan of the Zepplin, Budgie, Alice Cooper, Hawkwind and Motorhead styles of music. Never 'got' the Heavy Metal Metalica, Megadeath, Slayer thing. Always came across as a joke or a toy. But, each to their own, The style of music certainly has its fans, a music can be such an important part of of life, particulatly in ones teenage years, it was for me, whatever gets people together to enjoy has got to be a good thing. Eldest is into My Chemical Romance, not my cup of tea, but great to see the pleasure it brigs them, and we have tickets for whenever the 'Reformed' Milton Keynes gig... whenever it gets rescheduled.
  14. https://www.strangeguitarworks.com/slotting-a-badass-bridge/ Nice n Simple, I likes a Natural n Rear Rout... Some nice patern on the horns n arm rest...
  15. Got a Bourns MN from WD Guitars to replace the AC blend in my Ibanez SR600. https://www.wdmusic.co.uk/electronics-c17/pots-c69 Check the mounting bush dia if ya got mini pots... had to open up the mounting hole a couple of mm with a tapered reamer. Oh, and KiOgon is a top bloke and very helpful with wiring questions, i would of got the pots of him, but he didn't have the MN in plain shaft...
  16. Cocaine Decisions - Frank Zappa Kings of Speed - Hawkwind

  20. I'd have a look for Bass Amps on Gumtree and see whats local, most 15-30w Bass Practice Combos will prolly have headphone socket, £25 touch... nothing really to loose, Google what ya find, or post here whats listed local to you... Fender Rumble or Squier from starter sets often appear. Fuss free headphone only, this may be worth a look https://www.ehx.com/products/headphone-amp Where ya based? someone on here may have something to try...
