I mask the frets (and pickups) with Masking Tape, couple of passes with 000 wire wool (0000 is finer but havent got any...) Then a dab of Autosol (motorcycle chrome cleaner) on the frets with a cloth... it dulls black... then a couple of passes back and forth along the fret with a little polishing mop in the dremmel to polish the autosol off... gleaming frets!... and maybe a quick go over the bridge plate n tuning peg ears... If no wire wool or autosol... Duraglit Wadding does a good job. Then take of the masking tape and lemon oil the fretboard... (Non Lacqured Maple, and dont tell killed by death 😉)

^ Good Spot... for a lefty would both halves logo be upside down?... unless there is a LH pickup - would the length of joining wire to the two haves be long enough, are the halves different? EA, DG? ( trying to imagine LH rather than a reverse P) Maybe ya can take the covers off and turn them round?

Collet Knobs?

Ptfe plumbers tape? along the length and under, rather than around... or poke a loop in to the knob hole first...might be enough?

So following the Gumtree post... Collected today... Nov '07 model, In overal good condition, bit of a dink at the bottom bout edge by the knobs. Masked up the frets, wire wool and a dremmel polish, lemon oiled the fretboard, toothbrush and cotton buds for the nooks and crannies of the bridge, Mr Sheen for the body n neck. Stuck on the Dunlop Stainless Rounds i had, Intonated, Sorted... £50 Paid... £100 all-day-long i recon. ...and with its Flats wearing friend...

In that case, and in all honesty i'd go Zoom B1 Four... I got one of them as well. Small enough and great for the £ - on here from time to time £45ish.

What colour is yours?, the blue is nice... The paint finish was decent, just not feeling the red... but should of left it.

I've seen em cheap in wish etc... Cheap i-rig... for computer connection etc. poss latency probs. If its simple headphones ya after go EHX.

Back of the neck looked quite nice on mine... Body was multi but solid wood rather than ply... finished with Danish Oil. So 2x NBD posts with pics expected tommorow....

Be interesting if you could use a stereo FX, then apply different FX after on the left and right... presume you just get a plain out on the other chanel.
