  1. Penguin.... with that amount of P... P... P... Pickups...
  2. If you want something simples, no gimmicks of drum, no wah, no drive etc. Take a look at the EHX Headphone amp... https://www.ehx.com/products/headphone-amp
  3. Moves it all along with a groove... It's the 'Rockin' Horse' in ya Sausage Sarnie... You can have it without, but makes a world of difference with Sauce...
  4. Nice. on that... Black plate, black screws n black knobs... I'm old n plain and simples or something Bright 'n LOUD... Yellow, Lime Green, Flu Orange... depending on ya demographic? Welsh Flag, Scotish Saltire or other nation (under a groove...) For some reason the UJ or St Georges never cuts it quite like say the Brazilian flag etc. Thinking of Car Drivers and Motorcycle racers...
  5. Dr Feelgood... IIRC...
  6. Strange combination... Modern style neck i would expect to see on a more angular horned P... Body would suit a more Tele neck.
  7. Booga... I'd get them string ends sorted before the 'Machine Head Police' track ya down - they know where ya live! 😉
  8. It's not Active by any chance? Tried a new battery? worth a try..
  9. Very Ibanez and Court... 'prolly out the same factory.
  10. Copper... Easier on the eye, warmer style and more suiting to an old style classic bass shape. Silver is more the mark of the futuristic ala my Ibby EDA900 - or for a Gu!tar.
  11. I've got the 'lil MB15... but those Sir, look a MENACE! :-)
  12. Try muting the other strings, or the bit of string behind the nut particularly the longer lengths on a 2+2...
  13. Hurry on Sundown - Hawkwind
  14. Use a cocktail stick as a filling dowl, pva glue it in to the scratch plate screw holes, cut slightly proud 'n sand flush... or cut for just under the body level and fill with a pva and wood dust type mix then sand flat when set. Plain body... No scratch plate
  15. More pics... been itching on one of these... i likes a rear routed and simples... just a shame its not a split P. I understand the finish is a transfer. some google search seems to say that there ia a ply or something layer on the sunburst model over the red one. would be interesting to see how the finish is applied and what the bass wood under looks like. I would look to maybe Danish oil the plain wood, and maybe cocktail stick the scratchplate holes, and fit the thumb rest above the E. More pics please.
  16. @andy67 What's the designation of ya Fender bass... Rear Routed, Single P, VnT.. Nice 'n Simples. is it a Lyte or something? don't see enough of these modern takes of the old...
  17. Radio Free Albemuth - Stuart Hamm
  18. A most pleasant change from the more usual darker woods seen. Inlays or nice and plain?

  23. Wow... almost looks like some sort of heavy skin leather... I do hope its gonna be rear routed and you are not gonna need to cover a third of that with a scratch plate. Matching Headstock?
  24. Lonely Days, Lonely Nights... Whitesnake
  25. mmm... Scratch plate could of followed the body contour a little better....
