I'd go New Pot... some times a bump on the knob (!) Can cause the pot internals to loosen. If ya like the sound and volume action go like for like. A Log, B Lin taper, 250k?

Yeah still sparks and bites, even wearing flats... specially when played with a pick towards the bridge, and likely due to being more mid-ship P placement, than on the end of the fretboard, and wired via the A500k straight to the jack - like @Krispin mentioned in his post. I have a Artec 5 position Passive Tone Control Tone-Styler-A-Like, great for £15, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/403241742777 but didn't think i'd want to take the any darker... just play nearer the neck.

The British Sound was too pink, so got a rub-down to bare ally, then old school sticky letters... And a BeadyEye got the leftovers of a Black rattle can treatment...

Doesnt look like any links across the pot casings to the jack, relying on the metal plate... Are the In and Out white wire tags of the vol pot linked? Shouldn't be but half looks like it from the pics

Attack of the 40' Woman - The Tubes

Fretboard is listed as Oiled Poplar Laminate, and was rough and dry. Quick and Light 1200 and 1500 sanding, clean with so isopropyl, and a wipe with a bit of Danish Oil left over night to seal. Had a go at the nut slots with some sandpaper to take the Roto Tru Bass strings at a hefty 65, 75, 100, 115. And a 1/4 turn or the truss rod. Son is getting into the into Dave Gilmore's playing on Pink Floyd's Hey You from the Wall Happy.

Make me a twin saddle tele type... please...
