As well as strap length... Top Button position Lesser Top-Horn or Odd Shape often have the Button at the Neck/Bridge Join Ric's are only a smidgen shorter than the 34 Norm, but Lemmy had a Neck / Body Strap Button rather than Top Horn... This will move the neck further out... Might annoye, Might get ya comfy...

Fitting Passive Switch and Circuit to Ibanez SRMD 200
PaulThePlug replied to Obrienp's topic in Repairs and Technical
Got one of these in my Ibby SR Passive P with a Tonerider for the exact reason... to give it a bit more tone s-t-r-e-a-t-c-h... Had one in my Squier P with a Kent Armstrong pickup, but it didn't seem to suit. Still working out if it should go across the Vol input / Pickup ala '57 or... across the Vol output as Std... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/403241742777?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=009VOmD9RYS&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=daj_hJ6fSo-&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY -

Thats '0000 Wire Wool' I like using it with lemon oil to de-gunk a fret board, knock back the lacquer on a neck and wax on the body to keep things matte-ish Just make sure you tape-up any pickups if fitted... and a blow over with that air-in-a-can keyboard cleaner - or blast with a hair dryer on cold to get the dine dust out.

Wow... after seeing it, if the damage is from storage, how is the neck? If the neck is all-good, then likely the body wood wasn't quite ready, or something up with the initial prep and paint. As @BlueMoon has mentioned, send some pics out to Fender... -
Loves an Ibby SR... £80 Bargain... Yep Strings and a Battery... All-Done for under a Ton! But, the Guitar amp won't be doing you any favours... Have a look on Faceache or Gumtree and see whats local. You need to post a pic of the bass them are the rules...

It's that shape... but i like a rear route so would like to own a Cheyenne or Laredo and also gets a little contouring... I likes the Ibby SR body.

Strip it and go natural with a Tru-Oil or Wax finish... Why spend good money on a re-finish? -
...If ya measured - instead of rushing to the tool shed and started sawing at her, banging away, all half cocked... - the off-cut half would of been the same... Let that be a lesson when ya get the Wood Urge 🙂

Very nice... Need to get my 'aris in to gear and sort something for this 'little' lot... The slot makes all the difference... mine might have to have bit holes for the power plugs and connecting leads as i don't have a router... I think it will look kinda cool with such diddy pedals
