Then they are likely to want it returned. If you didn't buy / pay for a damaged one, them you shouldn't put up with it... it will get to you and rob you of your enjoyment. If on the other hand would of purchased the ding model for £100 discount - no sure of normal cost - then it could be 'Happy Days'...

'lil black bezel - central cut out for std jazz N and B sizes - attached with double sided tape so no screw holes and easy-alignment... might even be a print file with the inside pup shape done, just change the outside dims... If ya catch my drift...

The pickups are 4 wire 'Stacked Coils' so you can series/parallel switch them, in a Jazz cover. I'll prolly just go Series. So dunno if that still counts as a 'Single Coil' - similar idea to a Split P I think - and go A250k as they are not a big meaty pair of std single coils type 'Humbucker' and go A500k Was gonna go A250 to stop em being to bright? Edit: @Hellzero A500k and MN500k on order... Also Davii of MV Pups (FB MP and Reverb) confirmed, suggests no lower than 500k...

Gonna wire Vol (A250k or A500k?) Blend (MN250k or MN500k?) and an Artec QTP - Quad Tone (and Bypass) Passive 5 position switch.

Fender rather than Squier? I'd start by saying thats a £100 ding and see what the response is...

Found a set of Adagio Rounds in the draw already cut for an Ibby... Matching Red Silks top and bottom... Nice! Cream Covers on order to try and tie-in the maple board, and help highlight the 'Modified' with the black (screening) painted route... You get the idea...

Clue was in the background... Don't see the Maple board versions that often, not glossy-shiny just an 'almost there' finish. 0000 Wire Wool to the frets, and Bees wax applied with 0000 Wire Wool to the fretboard. Green Sponge to the back of the neck and Castrol Motorcycle Polish for the body. The maple board neck is rather lovely, "don't have a maple one" was the justification to MrsPlug!

I likes a rear rout no pick guard. And if you are going MM Control Plate... I'd go Cheap P pick guard, cut down minimalist to more a pickup surround to cover the P route and wire channel... and to adjoin the control plate ala Jazz... a P MM J fusion. Likes the natural wood... Reverse tuners ain't gonna kill ya...

If you need to go smaller... maybe a cheapy from Ali express... less than a tenner... and fit the old one in the center based on existing pickup - draw around, and cut off the excess...
