  1. I'd be checking Gumtree to see whats local...
  2. Love the look of the Fazley Hot Rod P, rear route single vol... If none of the above, nut, twisted string, no need to remove, just slacken off and see if the string rests happier on the saddle with half a turn of the ball end thru the bridge, re-check witness point at saddle... An odd chorusing etc can be pickups being too high. Good luck and post pics...
  3. Maybe something different? Alnico IV https://reverb.com/uk/shop/maida-vale-pickups Does a Stacked Jazz... drop him a line.
  4. How about twin--cam on the bay... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/234891590065 P or J, Maple or Rosewood... £60
  5. Codeine Linctus, Night Nurse and Rum 'n Black and some special Smoking Salad, now that Squidgy is a thing of the past... Soothes the nerves and aids restful sleep should only be consumed as part of a calorie controlled diet... More COMA rock than Stoner rock...
  6. I'm sure @KiOgon can sort you out. Have a look at Artec for pre-modules. I've got the Quad Tone Passive QTP
  7. Warman Firebucker II... They are a Blade pickup.. was recommended by Warmen when i was considering a pair for my Ric-o-like... If you fit a pickup ring it will cover the whole J hole... Listed as priced pair, but might do individual.
  8. I'd have a quick look on Gumtree and Faceache see whats local 'n cheap... £40-£60 may snag something for a clean and quick sorting? Or a Cheaky £80 offer on some think like this? https://www.gumtree.com/p/guitar-instrument/left-handed-tanglewood-warrior-ii-bass/1454364271
  9. I think the post is about Guitar Straps... Not Jock Straps...
  10. If... you don't need to By-Pass You could link pins on the back of the switch for Always-On
  11. A good solder-sucker is needed. And care not to over heat the tracks heating the pins removing the old one... Prolly take a few visits to each pin and a bit of leavering out. Saying that a good solder sucker and precision could clear each pin first time. If ya were local i'd give it a go for you.
  12. Swapping a switch out is easy... a pic would be good. Wires or PCB Mounted? And where are you bassed(!)
  13. Had the same on an old SR600... https://www.allparts.uk.com/products/plastic-spring-washers-for-bass-keys-between-button-and-housing-8-pieces-white
  14. 'cept the heel... discounted to £329 https://www.gak.co.uk/en/squier-40th-anniversary-precision-bass-vintage-edition-maple-fingerboard-satin-vintage-blonde/951657

  16. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174873768968 Son's Ibby GSR200 'Trainer' Bass, he is now on an Unlined Fretless... Aria Pro Jazz to PJ Conversion...
  17. Marshall Fan... Intrigued by a Harley Benton badged Joyo British Sound cheap on the bay... The font on the Oxford is fine, and i get the Orange box, but... Font on the others in the range is shite, and I don't get the pink? So 'twas out with the orbital sander and sticky letters for that 80's Electronic Engineering Apprentice vibe... I'll give it a go plug in the FX return tommorow.
  18. @AndyTravis Great looking stylish bridge on that Yam... Like some 50's American Car Door Handle, or Bulb Cover... Cool and the Gang... Now just think if that was a styling cue on the Fender Jazz... If it was't Yam logo'd i'd be seeking one or two out fir bitsa's... elegant.
  19. Not a MM fan, but love this body shape. Is that a compensated nut? So 50% intonation baked in for less mis-alignmemt at the bridge? GLWS
  20. Or save a packet... or enough to swap pups 'n pre if ya really need to...
  21. Can't beat a good mod... again BIG thanks to@Andyjr1515 It's had a couple of rub overs with furniture wax while watching the telly... It is Woody, Curvey, Sleek 'n Simple and so Organic feeling and Sounding.
