Swapping the Cap to 68nf did the trick... More 'Dark and Mysterious'... less 'On ya Fillings!'

Yep... Depends on if you have a ground foil... but i prefer a wire. Most vary on the use, and position of the capacitor, as a link between pots, which can be trouble if a pot gets loose, or on the back of the tone pot, safer...

@lksmks792 Tuners... prolly have'nt been round n round... pop the strings out, apply a dab of coppa slip to the worms and go round n round, forward and back... to clear any plating flashing, then wipe and go again with a dab of vaseline... If no coppa slip then just go with the vaseline, smoothed out and improved the feel of a few a sets of cheap tuners. Easy and may improve enough to stop thinking of the outlay for new tuners that are half the price of the bass....

@paul_5 Just what i wanted to hear... I'll get a 68nf ordered of the bay, then i'll only gave to faff about getting the board out and soldering the once... Son is on a mission... Fretless in to Wah (Mwah Wah?) in to a gritty BDI21... DI'd to the PA mixer...

He has no preconceived ideas... I passed it to him all @ 12 o'clock, and suggested the same for the EQ on the Bass... and the same with his little practice amp - thanks to the generosity of @shoulderpet - Let him dial in what he wants, ask Q's and go again. Thats what it is all about... or is that just the Hokey Cokey?

Looking to mod my Donner Wah with a cap to make it more suitable for bass freq. Keeping him motivated and encouraging he in developing his own sound for the fretless...

Electronic Types... Got a Donner Wah/Vol pedal... Looks real simple inside... LEDs top L&R, Switch Middle, 9v left, Pot Ribbon R, Jacks at Bottom L&R Middle is (4 Diamond) Coil and (2) Cap A153J (2A153J... so 15nf/0.015u?) Will get the board out tomorrow and see if any value is on tother side. Looking at some CryBaby mods, can i just replace the capacitor to get it Wah-ing better for Bass? If so what value, 0.068u/68nf? - I've got a 0.047u/47nf from a tone circuit... will that do the do?
