  1. Get googling on Dry Ice Blasting, Soda Bladlsting and Corn Cob or Husk Blasting Services for wood doors and furniture... a softer version of sand blasting... mask up the neck pocket edges with duct tape... nothing to loose...
  2. Yep thum rest off... and i'd be leaving alone... Love the bridge (if it intonates 7/10...) and Scratch Plate dink to the end aint nuffin' Coolio! Add add the E or a new set of strings though... missing strings is takin relic to whole new level!
  3. For Info my Entwistle JBX has 'Artec' on the inside of the cover... Artec produce pickups for OE manufacturers and by the looks of it other 'brands'...
  4. There ya go... you did it yourself... had an issue, reached out... then fixed it yourself. Nice... no idiot just an engineer... Try Vol Blend Tone (VBT)...

  10. I'd of saved myself £60 and changed the name of the band to 'Barefaced'... 🤣
  11. Snap, crackle, pop.... majority of old vinyl...
  12. Any trouble with strings? Check the speaking length... Couple of old sets i had kicking about would not fit as the extra length behind the bridge sadles to the ball end block meant the thinner peg windings of the string wasn't over the nut but halfway on the 1st fret. Choose wisely @Bassfinger...
  13. Real Interesting Read... Is this for a TDK C90 Normal or the Chrome? Dolby NR button in... Yes?
  14. Just dug mine out from the 'usefull tat that doesnt have a home draw'... and giving it a whirl.. Got it back in '05... £18
  15. Yep... Had one for about 20 yrs... Got it when i broke my wrist and dislocated my shoulder in a motorbike, (scooter!) Accident... Spin it up with the string... Then 'stir' the wrist... like stiring a cup of tea or slight 3D 'whisking' motion, like whisking eggs... close to the body... Start slow, below the gyro speed the speed up till it 'catches'... thats the tricky bit... you are trying to throw the weight to the wall of the ball... Then speed up the wrist rotation to acceletate.... You can then try with arm up or outstreatched.
