  1. We will know when you post pics of ya new Short Scale Fretless Headless... I'm arsing about with primer 'n sander and a dustbin of water... want to get my Jazz Hydro Swirl done today! Gotta a feeling it's gonna turn out like kids mixed up playdoh i l just know it... Great day for Bass Mods!
  2. Bang Bang! Bang Bang! Bang! (Mark Chapman Shot Me Down) - John Lennon...
  3. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! - Fine Four-Fendered Friend...
  4. Are Lakeland now doing 'build-your-own' kits?
  5. Kent Armstrong (Korean) Hot Vintage... from WD Music... £58...
  6. I take it all back... The bottom one looks cool... Rear Route helps for the modern look... Are you cutting and shaping the body back to the saddle plate? I get odds n sods, stainless bridge screws n stuff from Spaldings Fasters of the 'bay...
  7. Nice looking body wood... With the cheap tuners... a dab of coppa slip on the worms and a good twist to remove any plating flashing and get a bit of 'conforming mesh' with the wheel... or wire wool if ya can be arsed to dismantle them... then a clean and dab of vaseline... surprisingly smooths things up for not a lot of effort... Blue or Blueberry-Burst?
  8. Mmmm... I'm alrightish with the headstock... more so than headless and overhanging tuners... Back looks real nice, presume front is similar with the contrasting woods on the neck thru... I'd re profile the headstock, curving the sides, and at the hook on the side... with a 'bottle opener' look... to mimic the edges and 'bottle opener' hook at the top on a Rick... Homage and Lineage... Maybe have a go before lopping it's head off? Headless is OK on modern stuff, but would be a shame with that body n neck. Just my 2p
  9. Nice... Great Summer Build Project! If the wood looks sounds good on stain n oil. Got an 'AliBacker' Rickenfaker made for fun... came in at £165 delivered 0after a negotiated partial refund due to build issues... and £15 on a replacement bridge just got to sort the bridge n saddle height... bit of a faff as thru neck and the Rick-ish bridge overhung the body a little...
  10. Check at the jack socket that the center pin is not making contact with the shield that is grounded... when the jack is inserted...
  11. Not Fade Away (Glid Forever) - Steve Hillage
  12. How about a bit of 0.6 veneer down the edges... or all the way around the heel and sides, should snug it up.
  13. Best of everything... Plain Fretboard Dot Indicators for 3 5 7 9 12 etc for position... And lines where the fret would be... Play on the lines...
  14. Same with the SR's and the Vox-Amp type plugs... make a short 12" plug to socket lead and then fix the Tx to the strap... a lot less likely to get a knock and broken...
  15. You can put it back to 'normal' by downloading the latest firmware v2.1... https://zoomcorp.com/documents/102/MS-60B_v2.10_Win_E_0.zip Might not be able to restore the firmware in ToneLib or Zoom GuitarLab as it will see the existing loaded firmware on connection...
  16. Reverb... i don't want to see it, or hear it in the first place, never mind having it hanging on for extra! In honesty, you might not hear the difference... but i don't want to find out...
  17. Been Caught Stealing - Janes Addiction
  18. Ibby RDGR MM 'n J... @ £50! https://www.gumtree.com/p/guitar-instrument/ibanez-bass-guitar-rdgr-roadgear-wx40960-passive/1434027288 Dunno if still available, but would be mine if i was closer...
  19. ^ Unfortunatly paper thin 0.6mm... @Random Guitarist 'sorted me right out matey' with a bit of 2mm... enough for a couple of tries... Try #1 wasnt quite wide enough for the 'd' at the end of the logo... Reprofiled try #2 tommorow...
  20. Replacement Bridge... Lookin more 4004 May need to shim under the bridge to stop the "Super Elevation' of the saddles.
