1. fretless moments - thats a euphamism for jazz i think, thats cool.
2. its good practice to always have the tuner as the first box in the signal chain - that way you can ensure that the tuner receives the cleanest signal which means most accurate tuning
3. It would. Please buy it, that would be ++awesome++.
4. johnny shredfreak website for all things pedal-powery, daisy chains, wallwarts, adaptors, velcro, flanges, sprockets, doobreys, you name it. http://www.johnnyshredfreak.com/
5. Another bass boost/preamp/overdrive jobby, small format, phat switch, never going back to my Boss ODB-3 now.
6. Slowly gathering dust this robust little 1 x 15 combo sits unused and neglected in the spot where my wife wants to install a tumble dryer. Now between you and me theres no graphic eq on the tumble dryer, the bottom end resonance is slack at best, and theres no blend between solid state and valve preamp on the tumble dryer. I've tried drying shirts on the Marshall bass amp and it works ok, it takes a while but you can practice your licks while you're waiting. The tumble dryer has only one input in the front where you shove your damp smalls. My marshall has 2, passive and active only I think theres a cracked solder joint somewhere on the active input, I've only ever bothered using the passive. So what's it going to be? Hotpoint or Marshall? Yours for £120 which is a lot less than a Bosch tumble dryer. Its got casters fitted to the base so you dont even need to lift it to a gig, just attach a stout rope and tow it behind the car. Of course, if you'd rather do your laundry then stop wasting my time and get your iron out. Pics somewhere shortly.
7. http://www.giggear.c...-Push-Pull-Pot/ one of these will do you, they use them commonly for coil tap on humbucker tone or vol ctrl. heres a thread on the telecaster forum showing how to hook it up http://www.tdpri.com/forum/tele-technical/203008-push-pull-kill-switch.html

10. Just hold on to your board and start buying some new pedals, you'll soon fill it again.
11. got some more bits on order so I'll give it a whirl, should be ready by the weekend
12. I can make 2012 if its held some time after April
13. I'm thinking of building one with a blend knob to mix the fuzz with the dry signal, might tame the beast a little?
14. Heres the sketch to one I made in the shed one wet afternoon, its cheap and easy and it works, dunno why anyone would pay the daft money for a retail one
15. better than the marzipan fretboard I got with a p-bass copy off ebay 2 years ago.
16. Thx v much Graphics inkjet printed onto clear adhesive film, then sealed with a few coats of clear acrylic spray. http://www.craftycomputerpaper.co.uk/.-Adhesive-Papers_075.htm
17. Here's a delay pedal project at the request of a talented bass pal, Mikey from the forum. This is Sonic Kitchen's Time Machine. PCB from tonepad.com, circuit modified with send-return loop and an op-amp buffer. Only the delay signal gets routed thru the send-return loop so you can apply quite a subtle effect or a deeply shocking one to the repeats while still getting the clean dry signal pushing through first. Here the completed circuit routed through the buffer is bveing readied for testing before boxing up. Here's the finished pedal guts shot, this is about as close as I can get to neat and tidy Enclosure graphics, finished pedal Found a sexy little indicator LED to install from ebay which is pre-wired to pulse though blue/gree/purple/orange and guaranteed to partially blind direct eye contact in a dark pub gig.
18. fascinating read - thx for sharing and kudos to you for a great project
19.
i supoose king-size ones are for basses with very thick nuts... ...i mean, what else are they for ?
Aaah! I alwaysa thought they were for rolling big fat marijuana joints.
20. beautiful! Good luck on the sale, wife's imposed a 12 month ban on me buying any more instruments Looking for a trace elliot head now.
21. so why the sale? If its so great and better than all those others, why not hang on to it, or are you in a financial squeeze? I've always so regretted parting with any beloved instrument I've sold...
22. although it might be easier to sand the neck, I've always gone for the pocket - the chance of screwing anything up and disfiguring your instrument is less if you mess with the pocket.
23. yes, thanks! pm sent.
24. drop me a line if you're after a mammoth fuzz clone....
