I'm a retired marketing guy. I played in a few decent cover bands when I was in my teens-20's & 30's. I still have my first guitar, a 1969 Fender Telecaster Bass (Blonde). I wish I still had my first bass amp... a 1969-70 Ampeg BT-15... what a sound. Haven't played in quite a while, but I want to start tinkering around again. I just bought a Rogue Violin Bass - short scale for my small, old hands. My fingers don't move as fast and accurately as they used to. Looking forward to reading through the posts and asking a few questions, too. Nice to be here!
