Just had a good session with the tone And the boost and neck pick up only is a bit dirty, it really does add something different

Yes mine is the same, ☺️ both pick-ups at the same time is a nice sound.

So a day with the BB714bs It feels very familiar and very similar to my BB414 which is great. The Neck pick up is very addictive and gives me a great low end. The black nickel hardware is really nice to look at and finishes it off nicely. It came with the original manual, Allen key and gig bag which is nice. Not hearing a massive tonal difference when turning the tone on or off but need to have more time with it. It's a 2008 July made. The colour is amazing 😍.

I have just received this today It's a Bespoke strap made in Lincolnshire from an old RAF fire hose. The hose would normally go in land fill. It served its time in Cambridgeshire at RAF Wittering Looks nice in my opinion

So bass direct are saying last chance to get a BBPH? Does this mean they are the limited numbers that were stated originally? One on eBay for £1250, I always assumed used prices would be less until a few years down the line when they are hard to buy etc I think PMT maybe undersold the signed ones as they have put the price up from £899 to £959 for the 'normal' version.

Thank you I really like by BB414, nearly bought a 424 first but at the time there was a £100 difference. Are the 734As worth it? However I much prefer basses without scratch plates. I would definitely like to try a MIJ Yamaha. I placed an order for an ibanez but cancelled it as I really like my Yamaha ☺️

I have a BB414 and it's ace. But a subjective question is what BB would be an upgrade i.e better pick ups etc
