  1. For sale or trade is my Pedulla MVP5. Aesthetically CCC, but technically in 100% working consition. Scratches, dings and dongs all over the bass, although the neck feels great and none of the damages are affecting playability or sound.

The bass is from early 90s and features the Bartolini PJ pickups with a Bartolini 2-Bd. preamp. The bridge is the 3way-Schaller from that era. Common Gotoh Tuners. Everything works fine. The frets are in top condition so the action could be set quite low.

    Bass is traded :-)

  2. To me the electronics don't look untouched. The pots are from different sources and the solderings on the back are renewed. What is the story behind this ?

Unfortunately most of the pics are not sharp enough to determine whether the finish is really factory original. Even then it would be difficult with CAR finishes as they fade and crackle differently from others. Is there something engraved into the surface under the booklet on the last picture ? The booklet unfortunately hides most of the body area around the neck ...

Do you have a pic from the neck pocket ?

    Nice bass though.

  3. In the past two weeks I came to my senses and fell in love again with this little unit. Especially with my old Fenders it sounds breathtaking good.

So this is withdrawn for now. Thanks for your interest and posts.

  4. SOLD PENDING ...

For sale is my original vintage Fender Jazz Bass 1966 Custom Colour Black with Matching Headstock. This bass has the rare dots&binding configuration, built only in the first months of 1966 and the very last ones with the smaller necks and frets for which the pre-CBS are so well known.

The bass is 100% original, except of:
    Refret
    Some screws renewed
Hardcase is a later 60s Fender case (the black case with the tail logo)

    Everything else is original.

  5. Feeler thread: I am considering to sell also the second one of my Fodera Matt Garrison 5s:

    Specs:
    Walnut Body
    Alder Tone Block
    Buckeye Burl Top (Non-Solid)
    Birdseye Maple Fingerboard
    3-pc. Ash Neck
    Abalone Dot Inlays
    Birth Date – July 2012
    33″ Scale Length
    17.5mm Spacing
    26 Frets (Small)
Fodera / Pope Custom 3-Band Preamp
    Fodera / Duncan Dual Coils

The bass is virtually new except of a fading on the black bridge around the E and A string (from palm muting play).

Currently strung with E-C. Absolutely easiest play ! Comes with tools.

Here is the link to the Fodera Newborn page:

The bass looks currently exactly as shown there. Frets are like new. Original case is also in excellent condition.

  6. Not sure what I am doing here but I consider to part with my wonderful Jule De-Monique. I purchased this unit at the end of last year at bassgear and since then I kept it in my home, playing it from time to time at low volume, so it is virtually brand new.

These wonderful sounding amps receive thousands of enthusiastic comments from US players at talkbass. And indeed it sounds so juicy and meaty, especially with old Fenders as I never heard before (and I tried a lot of high end tube amps). Although I prefer my Epifani stack all the time - which is a totally different animal. This Jule amp should be played instead of collecting dust.

The De-Monique is the rack version of the famous Monique all tube preamp, with an embedded Demeter Minnie 800D amp, providing 800W raw power in a comfy lightweight package.

  7. For sale out of my collection: Alembic Rogue 5 Superb Walnut Top

    Specs:
    Superb Walnut Top
    Mahogany Body
    Maple Neck
    Ebony Board
    Oval Inlays
    34 scale
    Brass Hardware
    18mm spacing at bridge
    Rogue Electronics
    Weight about 4,5kg / 10 lbs
    OHSC

This Alembic is wonderful balanced on the strap and sounds powerful with a huge and fat attack, yet providing a solid blues and rock bottom which is not common for this brand. The bass is currently strung with E-C but originally built for B-G - it works perfectly with both setups. Action is very low, the neck is a little chunky and P-Bass like - also not common for Alembics in general. OHSC (black rectangle hardcase with body form cut) is included.

The brass hardware is still in top condition, only minimal fading (which could be buffed again I believe), some minor dings here and there, a 2cm scratch on the top above the pickups is shown in the pics. Otherwise the bass is in perfect shape, including frets and truss rod of course. It is a joy to play and to hear. I owned several Alembics before and this is the last and very best of them. No issues with this bass, I'm just focussing on other brands.

    SOLD
