Apart from Jools, and moving to the morning : woke up and put the BBC sounds app on the phone. I was part way through a 3 hour tribute show to Lee Perry. So it was a bunch of Lee Perry stuff. Good start to the year.

Not sure , but it was on Jools Holland . Therefore probably could have been the same thing any year.

The guitars are all classics, and look good as well. The bass was a "basses can be pretty too" choice.

I guess some ambiguity comes from lots of YouTube vids which describe a playalong as a “drum cover” or “bass cover”

Good to hear.... the only thing I'd say (echoing other comments) is that alcohol can be more expensive , so maybe the drinkers could find a way to factor that in. If the non-drinker is giving the drinkers a lift then it's a nice touch if the drinkers don't allow the driver to buy a round.

Not nice. But I find such people are thankfully in a minority ..... mainly people do not try to force their position (be it religious, dietary, alcohol or whatever) on others.

According to what I read Chris Martin said that would be both 2025 and after the 12th album. So means there going to do 3 more albums - at a faster rate than so far 🙁.

In acting, there is a difference between the character and the message. An actor doesn't necessarily need to share the views of the character they are playing, but the film-maker might want them to be in tune with the aim of the film. For example a film which is say anti-Thatcher may need an actor to play Maggie, but the director may (or may not of course) actually want someone to play her who actually believes Maggie is a baddie.

Or like David Cameron singing "Eton Rifles". Well, except that actually happened 🙄.

Just doing it on trust I suppose. Fair enough to ask for someone who is aligned to the message.
