Update - we have a serial number! 6862. Apparently it's marked as "in production" Not sure what that means in terms of timelines but it's something!!!

I bought a Hartke kickback amp with a dodgy input jack to fix up. Great communication, easy to deal with even though David was just about to move house! I’m just waiting for a replacement jack but have Jerry-rigged a fix in the meantime and am enjoying this little amp. Don't know what I'm doing to do with the other 9, though they seem to be likely to fail so good to have a spare... Thanks. This looks like it does the same job but it's not configured the same way so there's no way it'd just drop onto the PCB. I guess I could contact the UK Hartke supplier. Hi. I'm looking for a parts supplier to get a replacement for this specific 6.35mm input jack that was soldered directly the PCB. I've bodged a fix that works ... as long as there's an instrument plugged in! There's clearly some kind of switching taking place that I've not got duplicated on my fix so I'd really like to get a replacement part. I've tried ebay and RS but this seems a bit more specialist. Any suggestions gratefully received!

This is great, thanks, much apprecaited! I've got a little Laney LC15R, 15w valve amp with a 10" speaker - I'd be fascinated to feed it with just the high frequencies and crank it up.

One question though (I can't check this myself as the amp is now in Wales and I'm in London), it has bass and treble outputs. If I were to, say, plug another amp into just one of the outputs, what would the internal 200W amp be doing? Would it be full frequency or just the bass signal? Becuase I'm thinking - if I plugged a guitar amp into the HF output and cranked up the distortion I could recreate the two-rig setup at bedroom volumes! Just wondering... and plotting!

I can see the 2x15” being efficient enough to get the most out of the amp. 200w has to work hard…

Yeah I use a Markbass CMD121 and 1x12” cab setup. I find the rig very hifi and does a great job but the Marshall has way more character!

I helped my dad’s friend out and he gave me his old amp as a thank you! It’s a beaut! Unfortunately I don’t have room at my place but my folks have it at theirs for when I come over. Very happy chappy!
