Martin is a gentleman and a scallop Top man!!
3. Thanks all for your kind interest and wonderful prose.
4. Am guessing 75 - 85lbs. Neo speakers. Much lighter than 4 x10 Aguilar DB cab I had.
5. Probably the coolest rig - in the World. Cab very light, fits on back seat of family car. Simples.
6. Spreading the love Richard
7. I had a John Birch Thunderbird - a while ago...
8. My favourite ting, almost. Mint. With covers. Custom slightly smaller box amp. Matching 6x10 Neo cab, 2400W - £550 Does what it says on the tin. With finesse, and attitude. No trades thanks. Collect only. Let slip the dogs of war. Be very loud
9. This could be described as the Classic on steroids. Warmier, punchier, ballsier - simply the baddest Stingray, ever. Trans burgundy finish, gorgeous grain mahogany body, birdseye/figured maple neck, slab rosewood board, compensated nut. Virtually mint, no dings, no late nights, nada - just micro/unphotoable scratchplate wear. Weight is approx 10lbs 10 ozs - kitchen scales. Buy this - or build your own! https://www.youtube....h?v=Q_oXBvr8AhU Launch Press Release/spec Music Man Announces Anniversary/Limited Edition Instruments 30th Anniversary StingRay bass and 20th Anniversary Silhouette guitar to debut at NAMM. December 9, 2005 Celebrating the popularity of the StingRay bass and Silhouette guitar, two new anniversary edition instruments will be offered in 2006. Blending original features with modern improvements, these new models will debut at the 2006 Winter NAMM show, taking place January 19-22 in Anaheim, CA. StingRay The 30th Anniversary StingRay will feature a mahogany body (a first for any Music Man production instrument) with a translucent red finish, figured maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Tipping its hat to the original design, Music Man will offer a strings-thru-the body bridge, along with a buffed polyester finish on the back of the neck. At the heart of this Anniversary model is the distinctive Music Man humbucking pickup and 3 band EQ, providing bassists the widest possible frequency response and a fat full sound. A special custom-made neckplate will commemorate this bass, along with custom 30th Anniversary logo and graphics. No trades thank you.
10. Pics added - Bass chatters asking. On hold.
11. Same virtually mint condition as when purchased from my compadre - the Artist Informally Known As Lozbass. It's provenance is peerless - this is the thread which goes back to the beginning of recorded history. http://basschat.co.u...precision-2007/ The Kent Armstrong pick up mentioned in the thread was sold separately for a project to my pal Andy Travis. This P bass spec is very rare, if not unique:- Danish Alder body - super light - around 8lbs Super figured maple neck with tint lacquer Brazillian rosewood board - white binding Jazz profile neck - extremely slim Super low action (honestly - it's ridiculous with no buzz) '59 burst finish (two-tone sunburst) Aguilar circuit Nordstrand pickup 34" scale 1.5" nut Lightweight resonant body with very fast slim jazz neck (slimmer than Fender) - very stable, -I have owned for 5 1/2 years almost - has never needed any adjustment. Plays like a dream with an incredible range of tones. With a white custom scratch plate in addition to the black (fitted) and a tort. Hope the pictures in the threads tell you all you need to know. If more are required from a very prospective buyer please ask, no prob. Supplied with Hiscox case in excellent condition. Am Bassed near Manchistor. No trades thank you.
