6.
The MEC pickups in this bass are worth 179 euros EACH: MEC's official website They are the 3rd model listed. Let me add the tone from those pickups make them worth every cent and more.
thanks fraktal! lets hope that attracts some buyers! dan
 7.
No worries mate - I've got far too many basses as it is! I believe it was called Daphne Blue and was a common colour for MIM's. I was always amazed at the power of the original P split pickup in this bass. You didn't buy it off me - I traded it to basschatter AlfieNoakes for far too less than I should have done. Good luck with the sale - she's a beautiful player!
Ahh right thanks for that. Yeah the p pup is really strong, with a nice low mid grunt. When i got the bass it had really quite bad fret buzz, but i've sorted that now and every note rings out clearly. I feel harsh asking for 250 posted now so if you change your mind you can have it for 240 posted. Dan
 8.
I'm hanging fire, the way the price is dropping you will soon be paying someone to take it away
haha im not droping it anymore. x
 9. 170? that's nearly half price! they are around 300 new. Dan
 10.
Sorry - didn't see the pics at first - yep that's my old one! I'm tempted - would ya take £240 posted? I might regret this in the morning!
Ahh really? do you have any info on what colour it is then? I've never seen one like it before. Did i buy it off of you on ebay? or was that someone else? Seeing as the postage will be about 20 quid i would meet you half way and go for 250 posted? Dan EDIT: I would let it go for 240 posted, but a local shop is offering 220 for it, so that would work out pretty much the same minus the hassle of shipping.
 11. No offers?
 12.
Whereabouts are you?
Southport, Merseyside. If needed I will post in a gig bag pack out with foam. Dan
 13. com on... can i tempt you with £130?
 14. 140 to a fellow basschatter? Dan
 15.
Where are you based?
Southport, Merseyside.
 16. Another price drop £150! EDIT: i forgot to mention i've also replaced the missing truss rod cover and battery cover, and levelled the frets too
 17. This bass has a great sound, and it's made even better by the Kent Armstrong humbucker added in the bridge. The finish can be described as a metallic blue, but it can look slightly green in some lights. Not seen another one like it. Has a rosewood fretboard, and a red 3 ply torty scratchplate. The controls have been modded to suit the pickup config. It has a master volume, a blend, a master tone, and a coil select switch for the humbucker. The blend knob and coil switch provide a huge range of tones, and is a good alternative to a standard PJ setup, but it can of course provide the classic p bass sound when needed. Serial is MZ3 so its around 2003-2004 and is MIM.
