Brill. Thanks. I'll order the pitchbox I reckon. Sounds like a worthy purchase... Actually the entire range is looking more like its worth a punt the more I hear. . Especially for the price/size.

Still keen to hear what you think of them. In your own time of course!

Just bought a Roger Water Pbass body from Rick! What a pleasure to deal with! He kept me in the loop with great communication and was efficient and honest about the condition of the body (which is as pristine as he had described. Not even fingerprints when I unwrapped it!) Thanks again buddy, great doing business with you!

Maybe this one: TWA Great Divide Octave Divider I think I remember this one having programmable octaves up to two above and 2 below *I think* http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1kRK6UrOOI

My "Earthquaker Devices Dispatch Master" arrived today. It's definitely on the board! GREAT PEDAL! Sounds truly awesome. Mixing the reverb and echo into the one pedal allows the delay to be used in an unobtrusive way to drive the reverb forever.
Wow, I might get that Shimverb after checking demos when I get home. I was gonna get the Behringer Reverb Machine just for this mode, but this is tiny and true bypass. Can't listen to clips right now, but can anybody offer a comparison on that vs the Verbzilla Octo mode and Strymon Bluesky shimmer mode? Can you get a decent self oscillation out of the delay? It's all I use my Carbon Copy for, making spaceship noises while I play by tweaking the delay time with the side of my foot! Also the Black Secret looks like a nice RAT clone with an LM308 chip... My wallet is twitching!
The Ana delay does self oscillate. If you put it up high. But it just seems to make one sound,,, Well yeah you can hange the note of it with the speed, Dunno if you'd be able to get much use out of it for that... But for the price and size possibly worth a punt?
Ant on here has an Exho baby and he raves about it. Me and Ant have just ordered a pair of these Mooer pedals each - I emailed them direct and bluntly asked for discount if we bought 4 pedals direct. They were so excited they bit my hand off!! We have a Pitch Box and a ShimVerb each on the way. Glad to hear they are quite good for what they are. There were some great bits of feedback about the Mooer stuff from NAMM this year so I'm looking forward to seein what they can do at under £50 a pedal. Shep
definitely a worthy purchase. Would love to hear how you get on with the Shim verb (I was very tempted by that one myself) and pitchbox. keep us posted buddy!

I just got mine from e-bay which came in at £54 with included P&P from Hong Kong. I didn't incurr an import duty either. (probably luck) It's probably just worth mentioning that although for me the small size is an obvious advantage, it does mean they require external power as there's no battery compartment. (of course)

I decided as these were cheap, and more importantly, small, (as room on my pedaltrain jr is at a premium) ... I'd give em a go. Result: Well, I haven't given them a full volume outing yet, just a low volume, living room noodle but I'm actually really pleasantly surprised by the "Green Mile" tube screamer clone. It's gonna get a place on the board. Bear in mind, I haven't got a real tube screamer to a-b with... So I have no point of reference. I simply like it. The Ana Delay. Well it sort of does what you'd expect. It's my first foray into a delay pedal, so forgive my naive appraisal... But I'm not convinced I'd ever use delay on my bass. On one hand, It does what I expected it to do. On the other I'm not sure it's a desirable effect for me. I have mixed feelings about this mini pedal, as even though it's small, (a plus) ... it doesn't seem very versatile (obvious negative) and therefore I dunno if it has a place on my board. Especially as I am expecting a "Dispatch Master" to arrive tomorrow, which is a delay and echo in one pedal. ....I think. The dispatch master can hopefully replace the "Hall of Fame" AND the "Ana Delay", in one pedal. Assuming it compares well and is versatile, of course. I'll keep you posted, but I'd love to hear if anyone else has any thoughts on the Mooer mini pedals, and which, if any, are worthwhile recommendations! ...Oh and has anyone tried the "Lovepedal - Baby Echo" ? They quote it as being "studio quality". Thoughts welcomed!
brilliant ! arrest these purveyours of GAS and send the proceeds of their crime to me .... pleeease.
I blame the dealers....

Hi, I'm Andy and I'm also a preamp-aholic. To be honest bud I've not really given it a flexing yet... I'm still trying to put a home studio together and when it happens I'll be putting all the pre's together and trying a shoot out.... After I listened to your stuff I was impressed and inspired enough that I decided my attitude to a clean signal path might be wrong.... And ever since then I've been smitten by the pedal bug. However, I'm being really strict, and keeping to only the pedals which fit onto my Pt jr. I don't think I have the savvy to run something as extensive as your mighty board! So I'll stick to the basics...

Hi. I'm Andy and I'm a pedal-aholic. I used to be clean, but after a visit to buy a preamp off Shep, I decided to do a little *experimenting" It all started with just one pedal.... A simple chorus... But that just led to the harder stuff. Distortion and compressors , the highs and lows from Auto Wahs and the sweepers like Phasers and Flangers.. Now I'm a Hardcase Pedaltrain guy who has to get a couple of fixes a month. I got it bad... And I've only been using for a couple of months... I got a pedal habit ....and I got it good! DON'T END UP LIKE ME! Fender P -> Polytune -> Keeley loop/bypass -> Philosophers Tone -> Groove Regulator -> B3K -> Hall of Fame -> Phase 90 -> Vortex -> Unichorus -> Thumpinator -> Amp

For a great one trick analog delay, get the Carbon Copy. For something a little more versatile but the same size, TC Flashback. If you NEED tap tempo in a more concise package have a look at the Nova Repeater/Delay or the Boss DD-6/7. I got away without it for years and if I were to go back to a single delay it would be a Flashback, hands down.
I think the flashback gets it based on usefulness vs size. Cheers for all the help guys. Gotta love the BC forums! Andy

Foot pedal or switch for rackmount TC Electronics M300
GremlinAndy replied to BH12neil's topic in Effects
I have a midi mouse and it's very simple and very good. Maybe just set a search on e-bay for one "used" and wait. If you get one used you could probably sell it again on ebay with little loss if it doesn't suit your needs exactly? -
there's this thread too: http://basschat.co.u..._1#entry1503495
Wow. Very cool pedal but WAY more than I'm looking for. I'm looking for something way more basic really. I really want something that's no bigger than a Carbon copy... Or possibly I'm just actually looking for a carbon copy and can live without tap tempo.... I want it as small as possible really. (especially now I've seen just how big they can get.) The idea it to have the most versatile pedal board possible without taking up any more size. (pedaltrain Jr)

Hi Andy. Will look into them and let you know.. Tech boost sounds like its got it all... Looking into that too. Cheers guys!

I have a couple of TC pedals. The vortex and the hall of fame and the hall of fame needs taking back cos sometimes it doesn't 'boot up' properly... It's put me right of the tc's... Although when it's working it sounds great. I'll look at the others tho. And the remote tap tempo is quite a good idea.

This is great! Cheers guys. I have some models to start investigating. Size is my enemy as I don't really have much room on my board... But then again I don't want a sh*t pedal... So it's all about finding the right compromise...

Who has one and what are the pros and cons... Are they all big, or are there any mini ones that are any good? I saw the Mooer delay but it doesn't sound very versatile... anyone got one? does size actually mean better on this front? (I'm sure the Eventide Time factor is great (I have a pitchfactor) but the size is pretty immense and it is probably way more functional than I need...) And finally if anyone knows a thread where this is covered, would you point it out pls. A search revealed very little...

I was running out of real estate on my Pedaltrain Jr... so I bought a new mini polytune to place instead of my regular poly tune. Firstly I love the polytune! Both are great... Here's the skinny... Regular Pros: It's got an onboard batt compartment. So it's able to to be used without outboard power, Cons... Size. Its a regular sized pedal and takes up a full slot on the board. Mini: Pros: Simple! Its size wins. I just couldn't fit everything on the board until I got the mini. Cons. The main difference is the obvious lack of a battery, but theres another thing. It doesn't have a power *out* socket for daisy chaining another pedal. I was using my out on the regulat polytune to power the LEDs on my (otherwise passive) Keeley loop bypass pedal. A minor inconvenience but I thought it worth a mention.

WTF? LOL.... That's horrible! And funniest thing I've heard ever!
