Yep I agree I have a Korg at the rehearsal room and it is great. Low B No prob. My Gig-rig has a Peterson Stroborack which I can heartily recommend! I have heard many owners of the Behrry be disappointed.

Be v e r y careful how much you spend on LEDs otherwise you'll have spent more on them than the bass... Maybe a cheaper way to improve it would be to drill lots of holes all the way through the body. With enough holes, it will become *all* holes, and a pile of plastic drill swarfings... Throw those away and keep the holes. (Sorry but I had to bite back after the slight on my beloved Warwick brand.)

That's true. They (the Powersoft amps) are VERY deep. They *will* fit in a Gator Rack, but they stick out of the back quite a long way into the lid... However, in fairness, the space behind amps is usually a wasted space, so 1U high *is* a bonus, even on a deep amp. You pays your money you takes your choice! I can heartedly recommend them too. Light, but exceptional quality. Downside: Fairly expensive. (But not *really*, I mean, back in the early 80's, a very general rule of thumb was that amps used to cost about a pound per watt. ie 300watt cost £300 to buy (ish) yet even after 30 years of inflation the powersofts cost WAY less than £1 per watt...) but then they *are* a lot of watts!

I can recommend Steve.. He's a smashing fella. He was good enough to meet me halfway at no extra cost when I bought the Epi 212... We got to gassing about old times and although our paths have never crossed I went away feeling like I'd re-united with an old buddy. Top Bloke... Andy

Pete Hartley is a bit of an electronics savant. He has been around for time. His notoriety is larger than Sheffield and I've NEVER heard a bad word said by anyone about his ability. He mods Marshalls and makes them better.... I could go on.

It's fairly cheap for a single sheet. It comes in various metalic finishes like brass, gold, bronze, silver, chrome... Might be worth a try. They also do a silver paint in a tube (Like toothpaste) which you apply with a cloth. This I *have* tried on black plastic, but because it's oil based it takes a long time to dry, but the result is VERY good and VERY metallic. Also the finish is very even... and wont wear like spray paint might, as it seems to put a permanent layer on the surface. Let me know if you decide to give it a whirl, and how you get on.... P.S. I had a Jazz, and a Precision at the same time for about 4 years back in the early eighties. the 'P' was Black with black scratch plate, (so fecking cool for rock) ...where the 'J' was 'blonde' and pretty, erm, ...vanilla. However my P remained pretty much in the case that whole time. 'Nuff said!
