No worries - if anything the pedal did it's job(!) - it's a great pedal but its just proved that when I use overdrive I just don't sound the way I want to sound 👍 -
Up for sale are 2 overdrive pedals and 1 chorus pedal - Darkglass Vintage Deluxe v3 - £140 (incl box, sticker etc) ** SOLD ** - Source Audio Aftershock - £100 (incl box and cable) - Boss CEB-3 Chorus - £70 (No box) Time to finally admit to myself that Overdrive just isn't my thing at all so time to move them on. The Darkglass recently bought from @Cosmo Valdemar right here on Basschat! The only reason to get rid of the Chorus is because I've upgraded to the Strymon Ola. Everything in great condition and works as expected - welcome to come and test. Prices include postage, knock £5 off for pickup... Filled the last gap on my board with the EBS. Decided to keep the Aftershock (it's got a great noise gate in it) and the Phaser so this is where it's at forever and ever and ever!! The star of the show is definitely the Starlifter and Compressor combination - awesome pedals. Getting some great sounds out of this board...

Just got back from a Sweden tour with this pedalboard, with most of it sourced from here! The Starlifter and compressor are absolute gems and are staying put for the long haul. The OC5 has been a solid addition for octaves. Considering swapping out the Aftershock for a Pork 'n' Pickle as I don't need such complex overdrive. Also thinking of letting go of the Phaser since I don't use it much. If I could manage to power a Boss GT1000 Core or an HX Stomp alongside the Starlifter, I might consider going hybrid. But for now, this setup works fine, just looking for a couple of tweaks. (And that empty space on the board is really bugging my OCD!)

Oh jeez. Have you got the actual dimensions of the rehoused unit please. I don’t have much space in my board….. but… -
Someone pointed me at a power supply that'll potentially deliver what I need. Does anyone have experience of running either a HX Stomp or HX Effects at 900ma. I know products like the Cioks DC7 would deliver 1000 but I'd be getting 900 out of this one.

Just to finish off this thread - if for no other reason than to post a pedalboard pic! This is what I've ended up with. Sounds really good and overall I'm very happy (the compressor especially) - but - I can't let go of the part of me that feels this preamp/wireless tied to an HX Effects would have been the perfect hybrid rig for me. Just couldn't find a power supply to do the job. So this is the board for the Sweden tour in a few weeks!

I have one of these - fantastic preamp - really is..... These are designed to run 12-15v AC - the T-Rex Fuel Tank Classic's 12V output can also power this quite happily. -

Looking to sell my Line 6 G10S Relay Wireless System. Has the Transmitter, Receiver and Power Adaptor. I believe these should come with a right-angle adaptor for the transmitter(?) but I don't have that unfortunately. Does a great job of cutting the cable and fits pedalboards really well (Price includes tracked postage)
