1. Bought Gerry's TC RS210 and the deal was as smooth as you like. I paid with direct bank transfer and no issues about trust. Cheers.
2. Resurrection or what! Aria Sinsonido is the lightest full scale bass and the 'frame' makes it really comfortable.
3. What are the shipping costs from Italy and how do you accept payments?
4. Can you zap me info/pics of the in-ear headphones you pop into your ER molds? Cheers
5. That particular bass had a very tight, punchy tone much of it down to the density of the body timbers and though it's hard to quantify (no recorded evidence), the bass did sound a nadge brighter/tighter after the high polish finish, though I'd imagine only me and Dave Wilson (who refinished it and had this bass on loan for a few years) would have been able to tell.
6.
7. An old pic of mine. Showing the neck reveal. The bass was originally natural wax and refinished 15 years (or poss more) ago. The neck is fully sealed/lacquered but not solid black like the rest of the bass. You'd not know it wasn't a factory finish (really that good) other than factory finished basses don't have that neck reveal, they are solid black as it is an easier/cheaper job.
8. I forgot about that as well... more visible than that.
9.
I hate it when I can't figure something out...
Don't look for anything personal to me, just look at the rear of the bass in general.
10. The first Stage II that I ever owned, now for sale at Bass Direct. How can I be sure... take a look at the rear of the bass. http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Warwick_Streamer_Stage_II_4_Black.html
11.
At that price it would be rude not to!
Phew, you saved me!
12. That's a bargain price. I seriously don't need another SSI but that price is close to me saying 'What the heck'!
13. Almost bid/bought an identical bass on ebay very recently... I had to do a double-take, come back on here and be sure it wasn't your bass!
14. Played it for many years (and will likely have to again; if people want to hear it who am I to say otherwise) and I don't play a line or notes, I used to add percussive whomps to the bass drum kick by palming the strings with my right hand... if I felt like it I might add other percussive parts to compliment the drums. Drummer and I used to then play off each other, good fun.
15. Superb basses, 'Bassist' magazine rated this as the best fingerstyle bass they had ever played.
16. Lovely looking bass but not 'totally' original... the battery compartment is a replacement.
17. I've always done amp - cab A / amp - cab b (using two outputs on the amp if it has it); reason being that if one of the speaker leads goes faulty I still have one cab running. Whereas if connected amp - cab A - cab B and the lead to cab A dies you have zero output to either cab.
18. The spec says that the drivers are no longer Eminence!
19.
Doesn't surprise me with Warwick . I love the guitars but as a company they really are some money grabbing sh*ts!
They weren't always thus! 20 years or so ago I contacted them direct re. a grub screw from the nut; got a whole new nut assembly days later for free.
20. Can't comment on a replacement for the DB750 (far too personal a choice) but I can say that a pair of DB112 punch way above their size; one on it's own is... OK but a pair seems to be greater than the sum of the parts, I went from a Tech Soundsystems 6x10 (1200w cab) to the x2 112 Aggies and they fattened up way before the 6x10 which didn't come into its own until you were at silly volumes; by which time you really should be letting the PA do the work.
21. Just sold my Lightwave Sabre to Ray and it was seamless from him depositing the money in my account to his feedback about how much he was enjoying the bass. A good start to Ray's BC GAS!
22. Every band should follow Cheap Trick's example and write an end of night song! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tA_WUg9dQww
