Just to clarify I don't have the original pups for this they have been sold, it has the Wizard pups installed.

It is light (under 9lb), well balanced, resonant, the fingerboard is a nice piece of close grained rosewood, headstock colour/tuners (reverse turn)/bridge etc. all look the part (Mr J Public couldn't tell this from a pukka 'vintage' bass... but then he'd not know that it was a bass as opposed to a guitar). [/font][/color] [color=#282828][font=helvetica, arial, sans-serif]This particular bass comes with Wizard[/font][/color][color=#282828][font=helvetica, arial, sans-serif] Hammer pups fitted; I have no idea if they are better/different/worse than the stock pups, as they came fitted to the bass but to my ears they sound superb. [/font][/color][color=#282828][font=helvetica, arial, sans-serif]It'll come supplied with a generic gigbag or for a small extra cost I can source a hard case. Really don't know Luke but it is what the guy wanted against my SSII and by dint of it being USA I imagined I must be able to get that back, so I did the deal at that value!

[size=4][color=#333333]70's reissue USA Strat (larger headstock). Black with black/silver mother-of-toilet seat scratchplate and rosewood board. Few small marks on the body but nothing through to the wood. Nice easy action. No idea what it sounds like (but I bet it sounds like a Strat), as I am patently a bassist who has taken this in part ex for a bass I was selling. Pics to follow but it must be worth £375 (NE area). Sorry no case or gig bag but it will be well packaged and delivery about £17.[/color][/size]

[size=4] [/size] [size=4]I voiced a theory that the 5th Anniversary was out in 87 and around 87 after the 5ths were released they may have had spare cavity covers sitting around the factory and chances are that 'W' wouldn't just sling them, they may well have fitted them to basses at a later date ('W' weren't a massive company back then so waste would be frowned upon); 87-88 ish. I've seen (on-line) at least two other basses that have 5th plates that are NOT Anniversary model basses, which leads me to think that it isn't a case of someone [/size]accidentally[size=4] swapping a cover over. I had the 6x10 version of this and it was a fantastic cab that just got better the more power you chucked through it! I remember seeing this at Mick's house and despite wanting/needing a one-cab 'small' solution I almost went for this. Great cab, for not alot of money.
