1. 'IF' the OP is intent on fulfilling the deal (which I personally do not feel they need to nor should) then it is a simple case of getting a shipping quote and charging the buyer accordingly... the seller then has their own POD! Simples.
2. My work comittments scupper me from going for this as well!
3. If that bass is anything like as good as mine that's a cracking price... in fact if it was in Newcastle rather than Glasgow I'd go take a look!
4.
PM sent....
Sending or sent? Nothing as yet.
5. I should add that I'd not be adverse to other trades; early Warwick, Sadowsky (I'd add cash), possibly others but nothing too heavy.
6.
Sorry John No Trades At The Moment
I was a bit slow at spotting the 'no trade' stipulation!
7. [s]Trade for a Marcus Miller?[/s] Ooops just spotted your 'sub' message!
8.
Thank (insert deity) for that! Saw the Stingray just traded on here and saw your NS2 gone......put 2+2 together and got 5....
Right person but wrong trade!
9.
You traded it for a stingray?!? *bangs head on desk*
Hardly!
10.
pm'd
...and back.
11. I have to confess that I've picked up my version a few times of late and the piezo can be utilised to either add just a touch of presence to the mags or it can be used as a standalone tone and it is stonking!
12. LOL I had a funny feeling that was coming! Unfortunately like others, I'm not a 5 string kind of guy and it's compounded by the fact that I don't do fretless either! I wouldn't care but that Pedulla looks lush and it goes without saying that were it 4 string and fretted I'd have been sniffing.
13. Damn you wait... 10 years and along comes another one! Soooo glad that it isn't the 4 string version! I'm not just saying it because I have one but the range of tones out of these basses is excellent and I'd imagine that this'll be like mine and be light as a feather so anyone after a 5 string that isn't going to do their spine/back any grief should give this a coat of looking at!
14. Both basses now SOLD! The natural bass is the one that I kept back out of the two; it has DiMarzio Ultra pups and an Aguilar OB2 preamp. It is in excellent condition, no dings, dinks or worming, with a tiny 5mm lacquer crack in the neck pocket of the natural bass but you'd be hard pushed to see it and may not have, had I not mentioned it... and it is just in the lacquer! The upgrades are all good ones and the cost alone for those is several £100. I've just bought a Sadowsky Jazz so this now has to go... definitely! £725 no case (though I could supply one at a push but it'd cost extra), though it would be very well packed for carriage; see my feedback for confirmation that I'd look after it in transit.
15. I saw that and thought it looked cool but the strings look like they are off the edge of the fingerboard!
16. Nice one! I've been sorting out various fuse ratings for conversion of USA to UK running (different bit of kit) and I know that the voltage had a direct relationship with the amperes required for the fuse rating so wondered if there was anything in the actual power output figures (you know what sellers are like at quoting the best figures that they can ).
17. Quick question - if, according to the manufacturers spec (in the manual) a power amp (class D switch-mode if it makes a difference) is rated at 700w @ 120v (the only voltage rating that the USA manufacturer quotes), will that mean that it delivers the same power at 240v (I'd have thought the output figure would have lessened) or am I misinterpreting something?
18. Now traded and with a happy new owner!
19.
I keep coming back to this but the only bass I have that fits your weight requirements is my trusty old Status and I'd miss it too much....The PF's a lovely bass tho, surely shouldn't hang around too long.
I've had some serious (and not so serious) interest in the bass but I think most people are the same, they would love to 'try' this and if they did I bet a lot of people would be blown away with what it can do but I'm not a big bloke and aesthetically this bass looks big on me... great in the house/studio/blackened stage!
20.
... I'm thinking about the possible structural problems in these early basses.
What possible structural problems? Is that just an assumption re all 6 string basses or specific to Warwick, as I've never heard of such issues with Warwick basses.
21. ESR in Whitley Bay, decent shop for all your electrical odds and ends. £3.12 for the correct fuse... 12p for the fuse but £3 for the petrol to get there and back!
22. I've seen a few amps in my time that had the liner out of fag packets wrapped around a blown fuse!
