ZOOM 9120 ADVANCED SOUND ENVIRONMENT PROCESSOR Excellent condition with original box, power supply and I believe I even have the original manual. Bought new by me and rackmounted from day one; we now have a PA desk with built in effects so this is redundant. £75 * A total of 22 basic effects. They include the reverb effects of Hall, Room, Plate (each with two distinct types), as well as Gate and Early Reflection. Also available are Chorus, Delay and Pitch Shift, plus six other special effects (included in the SFX 1 and 2 settings). * Exceptional high-quality sound, for professional studio recording applications. The reverb sound, in particular, rivals the sound of professional units costing many times more and stands up well to the exacting sonic demands of digital recording. * Extremely intuitive and easy operation. The effect selector dial allows you to instantly choose the basic effect you want while three dedicated Data Entry controls let you instantly edit up to three parameters of the effect at a time. While all effects are of high quality and sophistication, the number of different parameters has been kept to a minimum for greater ease in editing. * Unique and versatile special effects. The 9120 also provides a wide variety of special functions and effects including trigger control over the delay and gate reverb, built-in delay time calculator, "karaoke" effect for filtering out the vocal signal in a music mix, surround simulation, pedal-controlled pitch bend, MIDI-controlled pitch shift, and others. * Extensive MIDI functions. With MIDI you can switch effect programs and make real-time changes in the effect parameters from another MIDI device, such as a keyboard or sequencer. You can also store your original effect programs to a connected MIDI data storage device or to another 9120. At this late stage it's probably too late for you to back out of the lend... but I'm different and if it was me I'd be saying 'cufk it' and let the promoter sort out an amp! I can appreciate that people like to help others out but a shared rig is a fundamental must have if it is that many bands and especially as the bands don't know each other. If I was on a shared billing with a band I knew and I could trust the bassist then I'd probably come to an agreement; otherwise no would do.

My 3 main basses. L - R Warwick Streamer 5th Anniversary Ltd Ed, Bolin NS4, Zon Sonus Custom

Go on somebody enquire as to how much!

What does it weigh?

That looks like a very tidy job; well done!

2 have sold on eBay recently for £255 (used) and £360 (new) but I'd realistically have expected to get about 50% of the price you paid new; which would be about £210
I'd love that fretless for obvious reasons John! Your old '87 Streamer is my main bass now. I used to own a '00 Streamer NT4 which was lovely but IMO the older ones certainly have the edge.
Glad (one of ) my old basses is getting good use. I had the fretless up for sale but due to the usual Warwick lethargy around at the moment, I withdrew it when I realised that I doubt there can be an early Steamer in as good condition as this one. When the world wakes up to how good Warwick basses are I'll likely put the fretless up for sale as my Ltd Ed Streamer is getting all the love.
Hi Im going to get some new cabs - my head is a Warwick Profet 5.1 After learning alot from the topic on OHMs ive got two choices Option A - a 2 X15 Peavey cab @ 4 ohms - so could only have this cab Option B - 4 X10 Peavey Cab @ 8 ohms, plus [s]a 1 X15 of some sort[/s] another 4 x10 Peavey Cab @ 8 ohms. would really value your opions for different sounds etc thanks
I fixed that ^ for you! Unless you are playing with a monstrously loud band I'd go for Option C - 2x10 Peavey cab, plus another 2x10 Peavey Cab @ 8 ohms. I've used the Peavey cabs before and the comparison between the 4x10 (or multiples of) and 2x15 is so massive and different it'd do your head in, though the Peavey cabs are cracking value for money. However, a pair of the 2x10 cabs stacked on their side/end makes a portable 4x10 rig that will see off just about any comparable rig for similar money. The tone that you get is totally dependent upon your bass style and technique so trying to tell you how it will sound is likely as not, worthless but I'd be amazed if you couldn't get a decent versatile sound from a pair of vertical Peavey 2x10's.
perhaps it got ended early when he came hom from work and spotted pictures of his own bass online
... or someone reading this thread made a sly 'off-eBay' offer. NOT me I hasten to add! -
I've always fancied a pair of 8ohm Acme 2x10 cabs but the ones I've seen appear used, tended to be 4 ohm. IIRC you need a fair bit of power to get them giving their best.

Why make that comparison... if price is a consideration you could own a full blown German made NT Streamer for the same money as a Euro Spector!
a tad thinner surely ? The Squier Classic Vibe 60's Precision Bass ’ is 42mm at the nut, the Squier Classic vibe Jazz bass is 38mm at the nut. Or wasn't that what you meant ? nb: I have no affiliation with Dawsons other than buying my own CV Jazz there, six month back when the price was £38 cheaper.
If there is 4mm difference in neck width then I certainly didn't notice it; having had both the Jazz and the Precision I'd have sworn that the neck profiles inc' width were exactly the same! Obviously if owners measure the difference and they are 4mm out then I've no problem with being wrong... I'm always wrong in our house when it comes to every other aspect of life. I will add the caveat that tbh I can flip between a pencil necked Zon Sonus or Warwick Streamer and my 'beefier' necked Bolin and I don't have an issue with the difference (though I can feel it).
Really? Not according to the Squier website they aren't. I checked a while ago and the nut width is different.
I've owned both (though not simultaneously) and if there's a difference then I didn't notice it! The profile, feel and even nut width felt exactly the same to me... dead easy to find out if the nut widths differ, as there are plenty of owners on here.

Classic Vibe Jazz and Precision necks are identical btw!
The CV Precision is not one I'd heard about until I started looking around here. One member PM'd me about the one he was/is selling. Sounds nice, but I don't like the colour choices. Still, I wouldn't discount it completely.
No need to worry about that one... it's sold!

Our band were all set up at a gig when we got a phone call (8.30 when starting at 9.00) to say our vocalist couldn't make it (wife involved in a fatal traffic incident... not hers). No option but for me the guitarist and drummer to quite literally step up to the mic and try it (luckily all 3 of us do some form of backing vocals during the set) We spoke to the management who were just pleased we weren't walking out. It turned out to be a cracking night especially when we announced to the audience what was happening and we had various volunteers from the crowd to do individual songs... one or two may have lied when they said they could sing but it was a laugh! I live for those kind of impromptu moments when things send you off on a curve.
