I'm trialling IEM and need advice... has anyone ever not? LOL I'm trying to go IEM and no backline. I tried my KZ10's with our guitarists x-vive and I wasn't convinced as I was having drop outs of either or both of my IE and my instrument wireless gear. I bought a P2 and I seem to have the most horrendous latency/boxyness to the sound in my ears particularly when doing vocals. No time to analyse what the cause is as it was bish/bash/bosh in/on/off/away at the gig. My set up went; vocal to desk (Soundcraft U12), bass to desk via Sansamp DI. Aux send from desk via cable to wedge monitor (not turned up but there as a back up) > thru to cable to P2 on strap and to KZ10s. Can I possibly be missing something but how come the other vocal in the band were fine and clear yet my vocal sounded like it had loads of delay/latency? Going to try new stuff this afternoon inc direct from desk to ears no monitor thru.

It's a BO neck and worth a couple hundred quid... fitting new knobs isn't going to increase the value by what you pay for them... back to the case; it's worth 25% of the value of the item.

I'll give you £50 for the Hiscox case!

Strange that folk say the NT doesn't 'balance'. I've had more than a few of the 4 strings and every single one was perfectly balanced... the first fret was in a different post code if you wore your strap high but certainly never unbalanced!

1 button in is parallel is it not? 1 button in sounds different to 3 buttons in which in turn is different to 4 buttons in.

So what setting is '3 buttons in'?

I asked about the 3 / 4 buttons in, over on TB and it was totally inconclusive as to which is what setting but you get 2 different sounds... at least on my bass you do!

Well that's certainly a different slant! Warwick licensed the 'Ned Steinberger' design from Stuart Spector until he sold the company, the license was challenged due to design changes (weak to say the least but it worked for them). The Streamer however is simply a ripped off Ned Steinberger, no doubt at all! Where the heck the scrubbing of Fender decals and selling Fenders comes from I have no idea... that's a new one on me!
