1.
Thanks for all the feedback. I'm taking the plunge.
Have you gotten sorted with one? I have one but I also have a Small Stone Phaser and that does the job of the Nano for what I need any way. I just need to go plug the two in side-by-side to confirm I don't need it and it may be for sale (complete with wooden box).
 2.
No problem my friend. For your consideration I have lowered a lot the price for a quick sale, if interested send me a message so I will improve a little this already rebate price: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...=STRK:MESELX:IT
Thanks for the offer, I know your bass is stunning and I have a fair idea that it will sound fabulous as I already have 'my' ultimate Warwick... the Father to your baby. Good luck with the sale, your bass deserves to be played.
 3. I see some of the Tecamp casualties have made their way onto the sales section. Always good to keep the wheels of GAS turning.
 4.
I've just dropped £850 on a new rig
You and half of Basschat.
 5.
Is it just me that's relieved that everything useful has now gone. The temptation to grab a bargain that I don't need and can't afford was significant
Oh yes my friend!
 6. At the price I have these cabs advertised it dawned on me (DURH! ) that I'd be an idiot not to keep one and leave at our rehearsal space (no more carting my bass cabs backwards and forwards when one of these will do a great job), so there is now only one cab available @ £60.
 7.
Warwickhunt + Flats =
Tell me about it!
 8. Anybody know where you can buy a single LaBella (think they are 'Deep Talkin'; with blue wrap/silk) string? I've just swapped an 'as new' set from my Warwick to my Bolin and I think I may have been overenthusiastic with the locking tuner as it caused the string to snap just as I was tweaking the tuning after a quick noodle. Gutted as the first impressions were that they were sounding great, especially with the piezo.
 9.
It sounds like it's been a bit of a lucky dip...!
Yeh it was a bit mad when I phoned the sales line, they were struggling to come to terms with what they had and didn't have (compounded by descriptions not matching product codes), even the staff in the stores needed guidance with identifying what they had in front of them; (Me to staff) "I'll tell you what, just tell me how many drivers, what size they are and how wide the cab is and I'll tell you whether it is the S or the M model."
 10.
mine is here, looks great! is a 4ohm one too, bonus! suits me better as they said it'd be 8ohm in the phone & i want to use it alone if poss. am thinking of getting the Puma 350 head to go with it as that'll give me 350 watts into the 4ohm. imagine that should give me enough volume for small venues or just onstage sound at larger ones?
Result! Did you get the M or S series? The one item that sorely tempted me was a 4 ohm 212M but they reckoned that they had none, just the S version. In answer to your question; I reckon the Puma + 2x12 will easily do you for small venues and monitoring at large venues when you have PA support... if it doesn't and you have the M version just give me a shout.
 11.
Boogger! Have just seen this but Pete's due to be in the States then.
Just bring Pete's gear along... we'll look after it for ya.
Are you local, Mrs. Tinman? Didn't know that!
Just take one look at her isn't it obvious she's one of the 'local people'. As it happens hubby-bloke Pete is a run-away Geordie so Mrs T virtually qualifies as Cheryl Cole's sister.
 12.
And they're both 4ohm.
Ah Ha! As I said, good luck with the sale.
 13.
OK, pm me the details for it, and I'll see if its worth it. Zach
22" x 17" x 30" and gross weight of 33kg per cab.
 14. I've always fancied trying a pair of these (I assume that they are 8ohm) but Nottingham is a bit too far for a 'trial'. Good luck with the sale though.
 15. The Warwick shop don't sell them separate ( http://shop.warwick.de/index.php/cat/c61_J...Nut.html/page/1 ) but a couple of years ago I contacted the UK distributor explaining I'd lost one and they kindly sent me a whole new set of 4, might be worth a try.
 16.
Thanks mates, it's available to the whole Europe I guess.
My apologies; for some reason your bass wasn't showing in my ebay search but I've gone and reset all of my preferences and it now shows. Good luck.
 17.
here: http://cgi.ebay.es/Custom-Shop-Warwick-Inf...=item230393c084 LOTS of moolah, but a truly stunning bass. Personally id never think about giving that up for anything
Odd that it won't come up in any searches that I do! I assume that it is restricted to ebay.es as I can't get it using an eBay worldwide search... possibly limiting your potential market a bit Javier.
 18.
Hi John, exactly, the bass in now on eBay due the lack of interest here. If I reconsider in a near future the sale in the forum I'll let you know. Cheers.
'Where' on eBay?
 19. Am I cracking up or did you post on the thread saying your bass was on eBay!
 20.
i know, i keep going back to the site because i simply cannot believe that you can buy an all tube amp and 8x10 for £1200... beside the fact that it's one that should cost over FIVE THOUSAND!! I don't need it. but i feel i need to buy it!
Believe me it is NOT an all tube amp. It has tubes in it, both pre and a tube in the power amp but it isn't a valve amp!
 21.
Oh not again WARWICKS DO NOT WEIGH A TON!! GIDDIT??
Oh not again +1
 22.
So how many people have TecAmp stuff arriving tomorrow? At last count...6/7?
I lost sleep last night considering bagging some of this gear BUT common-sense kicked in and I left alone... despite phoning GG this morning to check that the 2x12 combo was definitely sold!
 23. I bought a whole load of new strings a while back and find that as I am clearing out basses and gear I'll have less need for the likes of these strings! Warwick EMP 'coated' 4 string Long Scale - 45/65/85/105 x 1 set £21 inc P&P [s]Hartke Nickel Wound Hex core 5 string Long Scale (or you can obviously throw away/give away the B string and you have a 4 string set ) - 40/60/75/95/125 or 40/60/75/95 x 1 set £7 inc P&P[/s] [s]Hartke Nickel Wound Hex core 5 string Long Scale (or you can obviously throw away/give away the B string and you have a 4 string set ) - 50/70/85/105/135 or 50/70/85/105 x [s]four[/s] [s]three[/s] 2 sets £7 inc P&P[/s] The Hartke strings may be cheap but don't be fooled, they are still decent strings. Colour coded ball ends show striking similarity to another more expensive manufacturer.
 24.
...This is the deep model..near immac..£30 collected from Wakefield WF5
If I pay for and organise a courier, can you wrap it in a bin bag or similar and label it up for me? Wakefield isn't the other end of the world from Newcastle but it'd be a lot cheaper and quicker if I can do the courier thing.
 25. I bought the rack and tuner off Lee (cheers mate) BUT I rather foolishly assumed that the pair of 1U units that were to go in it would fit as they were just a dinky EQ and a multi-effects... unfortunately the Zoom effect is about 1" too deep! As such if anyone wants this as a trade against a 2U slightly deeper unit or wants to buy this outright, give me a shout. Sorry for hi-jacking the thread mate, I just thought anyone who was viewing this before might check back.
