1.
ah, same make as my first amp had the 35w and 100w of these, lovely little amps. Have a bump
Cheers Kev. I thought £45 was cheap enough for a full size, combo with Eminence driver and reasonable features!
 2.
Bass is in Paris but i can bring it to London for series buyers
I'm a series buyer... can't leave the bloody things alone, keep buying one, then another, then another, ad infinitum. Unfortunately your lovely bass is 'blue' and I don't do blue, so I can not be considered a serious buyer! Good luck though.
 3. If NOT using the XPS-DI you can just use a standard mono guitar lead to connect to your rig To answer a couple of queries... you do NOT need to run this through any other Line 6 product to use it; it plugs straight into your existing rig and all sounds are on-board the bass.
 4.
Any interested in this as a Trade, http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=48362 All the best, Mick.
PMd
 5. Unless you go totally OTT/stupid, you shouldn't have any fears; just use common sense... and your ears!
 6.
PM sent.
Oh and PM on it's way soon.
 7.
Never received a reply to my PM...................?
Could have sworn I sent one but checking my 'sent items' I mustn't have! I'll remedy that shortly.
 8.
PM'd (edit) and email sent
Fingers crossed... but still available.
 9. I've used this as a little practice combo and it has been used for little 'show' gigs at the school where I work. It has never been thrashed or used at anything above 50% volume. It 'won't' be ideal for a gigging bassist who is playing with a loud drummer but it will happily gig with amplified electro-acoustics etc. It has a DI out, headphones socket, compressor, 6 band EQ etc. One of the knobs that controls the compressor has dropped off (insert witty comment below ), but the shaft (insert...) is still there and it works fine. Not wanting a lot for it... £50 collected. I'd rather not courier it as it is easy to flightcase/pack a bass but combos/amps etc are more prone to damage! SOLD pending payment; to the owner of my local pub for the jam nights!
 10.
... so im considering selling my RS4 Metro to get a more vintage sounding Fender!! Any thoughts/ideas would be great
Weigh your RS and if the weight suits, sell it to me and you'll have the cash to do what you like... there's an idea.
 11. This might help. If you want the rest of the images up just give me a shout!
 12. +1 for the Thunderfunk or Glock. To qualify, I would select those because at the kind of money you are talking about one amp is not better than another, there are just tonal differences. However, both of these manufacturers make a quality sounding product that is reliable, noise free (other than that which you induce) and are of a reasonable weight (not always important to everyone). I KNOW there will be Aguilar/Epifani/TE/MB/Mesa/Ampeg/etc/etc users who will be able to say the same thing and I couldn't/wouldn't argue but for me those two manufacturers 'just' nudge ahead.
 13. If you noodle up the dusty end why stop at 24 frets... try a Warwick Dolphin or Thumb, they both have 26!
 14. Shameless plug to say this is a cracking bit of kit... especially if you have the bass to go with it; now where have I heard that before? http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=55380

 16.
doesnt your school have spare line 6 basses lying about?
No... that's me has spare Line 6 basses lying about. Though I trust the little cherubs dearly I wouldn't let something pristine and expensive be left in their care!
 17. Hi Uwe. I think our paths may have crossed, do you have anything to do with a bass store over in Germany?
 18.
I really do sympathise with you, I wouldn't want that bass tbh. I think, all things being well, ie. refunded, seller ok with the situation, etc., I would probably give it to a local school.
Well my school is hardly local but we'd have it! I really am intrigued to see how this one pans out.
 19.
I WANT THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Come and get it then!
 20. Peavey gear is vastly underrated and for the money there is little that can beat it. As has been noted some of the TX/TVX cabs are on the heavy side compared to more modern cabs but if you are young and injury free, you can take a manual handling course with the money you save buying Peavey gear. I should qualify this by stating that I have owned a variety of Peavey gear over the years (inc' all of the OP suggestions with the exception of the newer Nitro/Firebass stuff) and tbh you'd be hard pushed to justify spending x4 the cash on 'better' stuff... saying that when you have the means, then you just do!
 21.
This guy wants one http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?s=&sho...st&p=545083
Odd, but I contributed to that thread and have heard nothing back!
 22. £104 for the preamp... Hmm! I may take my J-Retro out of my Lakland, sell the preamp on eBay and reduce the DJ to £525; a fair chance I'd get a sale at that price!
 23. 'If' you can sort out the cab issue, then the old faithful GK800rb has a built in X-over with separate 300w + 100w power section, which can operate full range or bi-amp. Great amps but if putting through a 'normal' full range bass cab you may find it sounds better in full range mode!
