1.
Flat are mint. It's a shame the word 'thud' is always used, though... they do so much more than that!
Agreed... they also do 'clunk' but definitely not 'clank'! Only joshing, I've got new found respect for flats. I'm not fitting them to my gigging bass but I have new found respect for them!
 2. Nice colour and a new bass at used bass prices!
 3.
I know a bassplayer who owns an Akai-looper and it has the nice feature that you can go back to your first layer without everything on top of it, which is very handy. Anyone know if this pedal has the same possibility ?
I have the same pedal (hence why my guitarist got one) and yes you can cancel all of the additional loops on top of the original one.
 4.
lol that indeed usually is the case. ...deal done, and desk at mine. It just so happened that I was heading North to Newcastle today, to collect a pair of turbosound subs, ...so seeing this desk last night was a perfect opportunity. Two birds with one stone, and all that. Special thanks to Dave for his patience when, through my own stupidity, I went to the wrong postcode... Doh! Andy
Hey Andy. I can't believe you were visiting Newcastle/Dave (Hi Dave ) and didn't call in for a cuppa... I'm sure I could have tempted you with a Warwick!
 5. The price is inclusive of a Musicman hardcase (logo impressed poly type) and FREE deliver... AND if you buy this before the Ltd Ed is sold then you can also have gratis a Warwick 25th Anniversary Leather Jacket (brand new with tags size M)! The jacket was won in a Warwick competition 18mths ago but the size was wrong for me and I couldn't get it exchanged; the jacket is at least £200+ on the Warwick site/shop!

Drop me a PM if so.
 7.
I'll take either or both if dannybuoy or stevie don't take them. Just PM if that's the case, but no worries if they're gone.

Can I have them if all these other people can't get the jiggy?!
I've PMd dannybuoy, if he doesn't get back to me by tomorrow a.m. then I'll see if mathewsanchez wants them, failing that they are yours Ben! Can you both PM me your postal address, as I'm off work tomorrow so I'll post them off to 'somebody' tomorrow.
 8.
If you look on the end of the headstock the serial number should be stamped there. The separate 2-digit number is the year it was manufactured.
The basses with painted finishes tend to have the number filled in by paint and/or lacquer but looking at the the lack of dot inlays, skinny wenge neck stringers, I'd say you're more likely to find the serial number between the tuners on the back of the headstock... the truss rod cover and plastic nut certainly date the bass later than I'd have thought, possibly to the late 90's. Does the bass have a volute at the top of the neck? Just trying to help you date it.
 9.
I'll take either or both if dannybuoy or stevie don't take them. Just PM if that's the case, but no worries if they're gone.
If dannybuoy doesn't come back to me they are yours! Cheers
 10. +1 with the above comments... I certainly didn't need or want it but it didn't stop me texting Mark to make enquires!
 11.
Are they Dean Markley Blue Steels (not heard of Sadwosky Blue Steels)? I might give em a go if they're not too dead'n'dirty!
Sorry I should have said they are the 'Blue Label' and they are steels... these; http://www.sadowsky.com/strings/blue_label.html They aren't dead and dirty, simply came on a 2nd hand Sadowsky and I prefer nickels to steels. Yours if you want them.
 12.
Yeah, I've heard it's a common problem with Warwicks. I've heard a solution is to replace the input jack with a Switchcraft one as they're supposed to be excellent quality.
+1
 13.
Perhaps he means too heavy metal? Slipknot, Black Label Society, countless Norwegian death metal troll bands with singers called Bjorn Fnargarlsssen etc etc
Now the direction that Warwick view their customer base lying... that is another matter!
 14.
Warwicks;too heavy.
... and the myth is perpetrated further.
 15. The Sadowsky blue steels will fit any style bass as they came off a Fender but the D'Addarios will ONLY fit a short scale bass as they came off my Bolin which has locking machines and they are cut short to suit. Obviously not brand new but rather than bin them I thought I'd see if any of our less affluent or curious members might like to try them. Cover the postage and they are yours.
 16. Alphajet - Fits; 590c/600/660c/672c/690c/693/4c Cover the postage and it's yours.
 17. Brand new unopened boxed 'RiDisc' Inkjet cartridges; x5 colour ones and x1 black + 1 Inkjet refill kit (3 colours part used). Cover the postage and you can have them.
 18.
We know, 'cause we is old and wise.
Well I'm one out of the two... and I ain't young!
 19. This range of Bass Custom (BC) H&K cabs (15s 10s 12s whatever) are IMHO the best cabs that H&K have ever produced. Not so sure that many buyers would appreciate that and pay £200 for an old 2x15!
 20.
Phwoooooar! Whats something like that worth? Not that your selling I do understand!
As it's bumping a very worrying thread I'll respond. I actually sold that Dolphin last year to Canada.
 21.
What is it?
I told you... WaterofTyne's new bass! He's gone all Warwick and decided he wants a Dolphin.
 22.
Mmmm. I believe the Shuttle can work as a pre-amp. What sort of wonga is needed to add such a power amp? I've got a feeling I'm not going to like the answer!
I believe Ped and Dood have both researched and purchased 'relatively' cheap compact power-amps. However, I was offering the suggestion of selling the Shuttle and getting either a rack or pedal pre-amp; otherwise you'd be better off going for a powered wedge (or expensive option like the Berg IP) or combo running the signal from a line-out from the Shuttle.
 23.
Crikey, WoT letting a vintage Precision go? Suddenly the World seems different; things I'd taken for granted no longer hold true, a new order etc etc. This is kinda like Dylan going electric

or Warwickhunt selling all his Warwicks

Micheal too has realised you can't beat a good Jazz Bass
Actually Michael is considering getting this from me... You can just see it can't you?
 24.
Ahhhh.... that's old news now....
Leave it!
 25. An ex band mate of mine (he's a guitarist who has tried [and failed] to move to bass) is selling this DB and asked if I'd put the word out. He has it on eBay but it is available off ebay to any interested parties.
