Luke may well have advertised his Stage I bass @ £600 but I'm not selling my fretless as cheaply (no disrespect Luke ) and my Ltd Ed bass is into 4 figures which may at least settle the matter for a few people.     Price to follow when I sorted a few things out but by all means punt me an offer you may beat the rest of the field. <edit> Note the preamp (Aggie OBP1... not that you can see it or the pots), pots (new Warwick) and knobs (again new shiny Warwick) have been replaced since this pic.

    Yep I've owned a couple JV basses (inc big Fender logo) and they are comparable with a good Fender BUT sometimes imho people get carried away with the collectability and price! At the end of the day you could say that they are a very good Fender bass (never heard of a duff JV) but that is all they are; a good ('possibly' better than the genuine Fender of the era) Fender bass guitar. So what would you pay for a decently fettled early 80's Fender? To me that is about the value of a JV Squier UNLESS you are a collector.

    I can vouch for this Streamer, the tone may not suit Luke but it is typical early Warwick 'Sound Of Wood' growl. Good luck with the sale Luke.
