There's a few Lemmy statues already. There's one in LA and one at the Hellfest site in Clisson, France. There can't be many musicians with multiple statues. I think Freddie Mercury has a few.

I've found that darkglass pedals work perfectly well with active basses (they have to, active is really common in metal) but my main source of distortion now is a Two Notes Revolt valve preamp pedal. I usually run it in to my amp but it sounds just as good as a DI
