  1. I get confused by the sharp/flat thing. Is it a B flat or an A sharp? No one really knows but you can guarantee whatever you call it is wrong.
  2. Cornwall is all second home owners and range rovers these days
  3. I've tried learning to read music and have come to the conclusion that it's weird, confusing and stupid.
  4. ..and crystal meth. Nearly forgot that.
  5. Essex with gators, guns and pickups.
  6. I've done tests to see whether these manky strings are good for metal and the results were very specific, they only worked for sludge metal
  7. Black. Always black.
  8. Diamond Eyes - Deftones
  9. Waltz in black - The Stranglers
  10. They are stable. Tories always win, even when Labour won they were pretty much tories
  11. I don't care what a person's religious or political beliefs are as long as they keep them to themselves. Unfortunately these days, no one seems to be able to do that, especially with politics.
  12. One hand killing - Twelve Foot Ninja
  13. That's just reminded me of another far right punk, Michael Graves. Ex Misfits singer who pretty much made his living touring playing the songs he did with Misfits. He had his own songs but they were rather weak. A couple years ago he came out as a proud boy and proclaimed himself a "proud chauvinist". It's pretty much ended his career. The only support he got was from terrible nu-metal band Trapt who are also proud boys and had a hilarious social media melt down which pretty much ended their career. These days with social media bands need to be careful about sharing their personal beliefs, especially when they're racist or sexist or homophobic or all of them combined. Stephen Carpenter of Deftones shared his belief that the earth is flat. He was ridiculed but it didn't harm his career
  14. Is that any worse than Red Hot Chilli Peppers "What I've got you've got to get it put it in you" in Give It Away which was also on the radio all the time?
  15. It was on radio 1 all the time. Is there actually anything offensive about the lyrics? I don't remember it being homophobic
  16. John Peel was fantastic. His show was so weird. He's the only DJ I've ever heard go from some 1920s jazz to Hungarian folk music to Napalm Death, to some weird electronic noise then a bit of solo jazz flute.
  17. Comedy has to go to the extremes of whatever subject its poking fun at. When you go to extremes someone will probably get offended. Does that mean comedy should be banned or does it mean people should get less up tight about things? There are some limits, racism and sexism and joking about disability for example. Most other things I think are fair game. These days there are people getting offended because a politician they support is the subject of a joke and those people can f**k off. Same goes for people getting offended by jokes about class or religion. When someone gets offended it's not always the fault of the person who made the joke, sometimes it's the person who took offence who is the problem.
  18. Weiner blut - Rammstein
  19. Pulse of the maggots - Slipknot
  20. Home bowl (poop before my anus bleeds) - Quagmire and Griffin
  21. Lars is slowly turning in to old Stewie Griffin
  22. You aren't wrong. You can't have heavy without bass.
  23. Fast Forward - You me at six
  24. I had a listen to the Bass Channel version today. It's a definite improvement. Maybe the bass is a little high in the mix but considering the context of this particular video that is understandable.
  25. I did an apprenticeship in engineering back in the 90's and the abuse was pretty relentless for the full four years of my training. Most of it I found quite funny and laughed along with them but the other apprentice bit back and got it twice as bad. I soon realised you just had to go with it. None of it would be allowed these days but on the other side, ignoring the abuse, the standard of mentoring was higher, apprenticeships were twice as long and you were expected to do the job and not just used as cheap labour. It all went wrong when HR departments became a thing.
