  1. I believe its about taking back the word from the racists and using it themselves.
  2. I find bland music most offensive. Dull, lifeless bland toss like Buble, Coldplay Will Young, James Blunt and just about everything else on Radio 2. Music is art and art should never be bland. At least music traditionally seen as offensive has something you remember after hearing it and at least it triggers some sort of emotion even if it's disgust. I feel my time has been wasted if I hear something which just leaves me bored.
  3. Amnesia (Pulling Teeth) - Metallica
  4. They've had a few absolutely brilliant albums but at least as many absolutely stinking albums. St Anger was pretty terrible in most ways. Load was pretty weak. S&M just plain sucked. Everything they did with Cliff was superb but after that they've been a bit hit and miss.
  5. You could have all the same gear as your favourite musician and still sound nothing like them because you don't play like them. Go to a shop with a good selection, try some and then buy the one you enjoy playing most. That way the only decision to make is what colour Stingray you want.
  6. I looked up the Marshall Superbass on YouTube and nearly all the videos are demos with a guitar, just one dude with a Gibson Ripper
  7. I would imagine it would work well with the 4x15 Marshall cab. I guess the lower power isn't a problem if you want a dirty sound, it just won't do clean at a high volume.
  8. Thyme - Pink Floyd
  9. New World Order - Ministry
  10. Stone the crow - Down
  11. Obviously I didn't mean Alestorm and Gloryhammer. I meant the other, good, clean living, nice pirate metal bands.
  12. Marshall originally intended it as a bass amp but it was more commonly used as a guitar amp because it was closer to being a guitar amp. It was under powered as a bass amp and didn't sound like a bass amp.
  13. Well then there's clearly something wrong with you.
  14. Who doesn't?
  15. That's probably for the best. I love Misfits but Jerry's bass (not his playing) sounds bloody awful. I'd say Lemmy has to be one of the most distinctive, Rickenbacker through marshall guitar amps played as a rhythm guitar is never going to sound like everyone else. Flea is quite distinctive. I'm no Chilli Peppers fan but instantly recognised his bass sound on Alanis Morissette's songs. He just has a really distinctive style.
  16. Spinning in the daffodils - Them Crooked Vultures
  17. Violent Pawnography - System Of A Down
  18. Redemption City - Corrosion Of Conformity
  19. Sugar - System Of A Down
  20. What's the exciting way to practice scales?
  21. Holy crap, why didn't I think of that? I freaking love that song. I'll be on that in the morning.
  22. Mother - Danzig
  23. Nazi punks f**k off - Dead Kennedys
  24. Have you not discovered Nintendocore yet? Or Dinosaur metal?
  25. Brain Stew - Green Day
