  1. On the Queens Of The Stone Age - Song For The Deaf there's some cool bits between songs, some funny, some just cool but it all just fits nicely with the record.
  2. Apple pie and police state - Leftover Crack
  3. Good point. I stand corrected.
  4. I've seen an Ibanez like that in a shop. It was a 7 string with the lower 3 being fretless. After doing a bit of googling I came to the conclusion that church bassists love them but everyone else thinks they're stupid
  5. Ugly bass or ugly bassist?
  6. This has to be one of the ugliest and it sounds pretty nasty as well. It's Jerry Only of Misfits bass. He makes them himself but there was a company making and selling them for a short time, I can't remember who.
  7. I really like that. I think it looks great.
  8. Knocking at your back door - Deep Purple
  9. Cemetery Gates - Pantera
  10. Is that the Mk4 400BH?
  11. An Ampeg SVT all valve head would be perfect I don't think I'll get one for £600 unless it's heavily soiled / battered / fried / stolen
  12. I have, yes. They sound great but what's the volume like?
  13. I've already got a valve preamp in front of the Orange. I should have mentioned that I've had a few amp failures and each time it's been the solid state power section so I was hoping an old all valve head would be more reliable.
  14. Loser - Beck
  15. I'm looking to sell both of my hybrid amp heads to buy one all valve head. I'll be looking used and I know that comes with some risk. My budget is around £600. I play metal and punk so I like a nice bit of dirt on my tone. I'll be using it with a pair of Trace Elliot 8 ohm 300w cabs, a 4x12 and a 1x15. I'm not sure about power output, my 500w Orange head generally doesn't go above 4 on the master volume and my 280w Trace head is not loud enough at 80% but I know watts don't really equal volume. What's your suggestions for a good amp to look for?
  16. Faith - George Michael
  17. King of the road - Fu Manchu
  18. There are definitely albums that have changed what music means to me. The Real Thing by Faith No More was the first record that made me think about what I was listening to. Before then, I played GNR and Def Leopard records at home but mostly because I liked the loud, aggressive noise. The Real Thing was different, it was loud and aggressive but there was much more to it and it was the first record I really listened to and started to appreciate and try to understand. Still one of my favourite records now.
  19. Four pump chump and the 1 inch sex stump - Strangle W**k I believe they're on the radio 2 play list.
  20. Creature of the wheel - White Zombie
  21. Radio - Rancid
  22. Gay bar - Electric Six
  23. Heaviest matter in the universe - Gojira
  24. I was a teenage hand model - Queens Of The Stone Age
  25. Dancing on your grave - Motorhead (Sepultura means grave in Portuguese)
