  1. Lowrider - Cypress Hill
  2. I did look for the newspaper article about the incident but it predates common Internet use plus searching the words Bath and bomb just brings up all sort of crap to put in your tub.
  3. An acquaintance of mine once had his bagpipes blown up by the bomb squad in Bath. On his way home from a night out whilst rather drunk he put them down while he watered the bushes in Queens Square and then forgot to pick them up before staggering home. The next morning in his rush to leave for a climbing trip he forgot all about them but saw the bomb squad had closed the square. When he got home and remembered them he went to the police station to see if they had been handed in as lost property. There was good news and bad. They had them but they were a bit blown up.
  4. It's the brown note
  5. I thought Focus had just over done it with the mind altering substances when they wrote that.
  6. Walk - Pantera
  7. Now you're just quoting Manic Street Preachers lyrics
  8. I take your point but AC/DC are an exceptional case. There are other rock and metal bands who have used bagpipes in an unacceptable manner, Korn for example.
  9. Of course. I am reasonable
  10. Same goes for bag pipes and ukuleles
  11. Knife Party - Deftones
  12. I can't stand a lot of the earlier prog, it seemed like it was complicated for the sake of being complicated and then there's Hocus Pocus by Focus which had yodelling which is unacceptable. I do like a lot of modern progressive metal though, bands like Intronaut, Tool and Meshuggah who make complicated music which has cool bits and sounds interesting
  13. Punch in the face - Ministry A lovely ballad
  14. More than worms - Extreme
  15. Fast Worms - Intronaut
  16. After I drove one I realised they're for looking at, not driving. My Jaguar had an engine based on the one in the V8 Vantage, bored out from 4.7 to 5.0 and with a massive supercharger and an extra 150 horsepower and was about a third the price and much cheaper to run.
  17. Snakes for the divine - High On Fire
  18. I've got it https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/194368628626?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=CkguqlEPQQ6&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=9V8HKDKxT8C&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  19. Which brand of bass is incredibly over priced, has German pickups, is unreliable, eye wateringly expensive to repair and isn't as good as cheaper competitors? An Aston DB9 was the most disappointing car I've ever driven, it felt fat, wallowy and underpowered. The v12 motor sounded nice though.
  20. Milqtoast - Helmet
  21. We're going to record our demo this weekend so I thought I'd get some new strings. It looks like my usual DR Black Beauties are no longer available as the heavy 5 string set. They have quite a distinctive sound so I'm a bit nervous about trying something else and with my A# tuning, I'm not sure the .125 gauge will do it.
  22. Strange Brew - Cream
  23. No hope in sight - Paradise Lost A lovely uplifting tune
  24. Ghost Town - The Specials
  25. In the city - The Jam
