  1. Eighties - Killing Joke
  2. Just had a bash at Pandemonium. That's proper fun to play and really similar to one of my bands originals called The Hoard. I can't play it without using my right thumb to mute the E (low D) string
  3. As a teenager I liked the very early pop punk but hated reggae. Now I like reggae and hate pop punk, I mean can't stand it.
  4. I can Harley speak - Bombay Bicycle Club
  5. Atheist Anthem - Leftover Crack
  6. Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition - Serj Tankian
  7. I thought I should learn some REM and this song has an excellent bass part. First thing I realised is there's far less notes than you'd think, loads of space in there. What I'm finding a little tricky is some weird rhythms. I need to learn some more of their songs
  8. Here it is
  9. Thanks for the explanation. I remember an interview (I think with Jazz) where he said when the band first started, Geordie told them he was the greatest guitarist in the world but actually couldn't play at all! He soon picked it up alright though.
  10. Does Geordie play with an unusual style or is it just the overdriven hollow body guitar that creates that distinctive sound?
  11. Black hole sun - Soundgarden
  12. Filthy - Christina Aguilera
  13. Look at my butt crack - Kathy Griffin
  14. Topless - Breaking Benjamin
  15. Knockers - The Darkness
  16. A few. Definitely a few.
  17. I was reluctant to listen but was interested to hear Marcus Miller talk about his career. I'm not in to his music but his career has been really interesting. Fortunately there was no standard Scott Divine jazz noodling and I don't think he mentioned "holding down the low end" once
  18. That was actually quite interesting. I was expecting it to be ruined by Scott but he kept quiet mostly which is for the best.
  19. Who are you - t'ooo
  20. The kids are alright - Rancid
  21. Castles made of sand - Hendrix
  22. Wardance - Killing Joke
  23. Violent pornography - System Of A Down
  24. I'll take Lemmy's Rickenbacker. Obviously I'll be needing his Murder One amp and stack of 4x15 and 4x12 Marshall cabs. Just one chance to badly play Metropolis on Lemmy's gear would be amazing. I love that to most bassists Lemmys sound is the stuff of their nightmares but it was just perfect for his blend of punk and metal.
