4. Bought a loaded Jazz bass body off Kim - can vouch for all of the above great feedback - smooth deal, totally patient with my initial dithering, excellent and entertaining communications, and super-speedy delivery Thanks fella!
5. Used to be mine! Bought new for over £200 Great lightweight cab, and rather annoyingly this impressed my band far more than the US boutique gear I've had since, 'cos of the alu cones of course
6. Absolutely stunning - that's the bass the Gibson RD Artist CMT really should have been (carved top, block inlays, and proper bridge) - nice one!
7. When I put chrome Gibson Victory tuners (basically Schaller M4S's) on my Epi neck I had to bore out the holes slightly, wasn't hard though: 3rd post down - http://basschat.co.uk/topic/233994-3-basses-85-gibson-explorer-79-martin-eb-18-warmoth-thunderbird/page__p__2453668__hl__martin__fromsearch__1#entry2453668 Guess it would be the same for the lollipop tuners 'Tis a nice bicentennial indeed above, looks typically "posed by Andy Baxter"
8. Great nick, exactly like: http://www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/product/15010-epiphone-les-paul-case-for-standard-classic-and-custom-guitars.html/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=shopping&utm_campaign=base&gclid=CIqi44eWu74CFRQctAodtFQA3w £30 collected from Swansea, or delivered for a tenner extra
9.
I nearly bought one from Johnny Roadhouse a few years ago....still tempted, if skint.
I know that feeling...... One at V&R for almost £1200 - I'd do mine for £750 Edited first post for possible trade offers
10.
Martin...mmmmm...
'Tis luverly! Driving from S Wales to E Anglia next weekend type bump.....
11. Sold a Precision bass to Jake; awesome Basschatter - instant payment, great and entertaining communications, and clearly well into his bass as well as thespian frivolities..... Deal with in total confidence - cheers fella!
12. Watched "Guitarists on "Later"" and "Guitarists at the BBC" on BBC4 the other night, and was struck by just how many of the bass players were playing Jazz basses - usually on these retro compilations it's spot the non-P bass Never much got on with them much myself, but I can see why so many do
13. Bought a Wilkinson bridge off Mike; pleasure to do business with and bridge arrived in no time..... Thanks fella, and make sure you finish that project bass of yours ok!
14. 8 pages????? Bought a couple of P bass control knobs off John; great price, fast despatch, easiest of deals! Thanks fella .....

Bought a pickup off Barrie, at least my 4th deal with him Just a Basschat legend, ''nuff said
16.
Warwick Pro-Series MiK Star Bass.
That's lovely that is - I remember you saying a while ago if only there were an EB-2 styled bass with 5 strings and long scale. I liked their jack Bruce sig bass, but that's even nicer I guess it's "centre block" construction?
17. Likewise, bought an aged pair of P covers off Dan, real easy deal and lightning fast despatch - a massively entertaining guy to communicate with also ( had been chatting about vintage Fenders and such for a while anyway.......) Top BC-er, deal with in total confidence
18. Absolutely can't believe this is still here; a genuine '57 for modern custom shop money. I came within a whisker of a trade deal for this (but found I just couldn't let my '65 P go....), but have dealt with Dan and have to say he's a total gent to do business with
19. I used to own this neck - as is the way of BC; Chris traded it to me, and I later traded it back to him attached to a '79 ash body (not the one in the OP I think), and have to say it's quite phenomenally nice. Would be so tempted if had the moolah..... (Co-incidentally my one and only new bass purchase was also inspired by Sting, but it was a fretless Ibanez Musician )
