thanks hooky-lowdown, I guess I'm going to have to experiment! I do lean towards an old school style (probably cos I'm old ) What do you advise for this sort of sound? I know some bass players really dislike the old school sound Rosie

Hi all, about to take delivery of a Warwick $$ fretless and for my fretted bass I use flat wound as I love the sound. Any other Warwick fretless owners out there recommend flat wounds?
