1. Well that does sound mroe reasonable. Now just for the fuzz and tremelo. EBS tremelo's any good.
2. Im thinking the Zoom R16 is something you need. Even though and this is something i wonder myself, because it usb, and im under the impression that with usb you cant record nultiple tracks in the one go. So whats the point in having multiple input usb interfaces. Or can you record multiple tracks with usb now.
3. Ah well. One day.
4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tRX5eL5wcE at 3.18 how would you say to get the effect, would it just be a tremelo pumping through the moog in its simpliest form. Or is someone playing it on synth? Really liked it anyway.
5. Can we all get free source audio products???
6. It were me, im currently gasing for a stingray 5, black, black pickguard and maple neck. Thats what i would go for anyway. While im sure the lakland will sound different, the stingray would add another dimension of the choice of sounds you could have. So keep the jazz and get a stingray.
7. Ive heard really good things about them and was going to ship one over but then i found my hora. Actually i havent heard a bad thing about them and it would make a great instrument to have. BTW, the string emporium have shipped to europ and it will cost around $200 when i was last in touch with them.
8. I want it now.
9. Thanks, i think i might just leave it off and bring my yamaha and use the active eq to get different sounds. But ill have a look for that manual and give it a read.
10. Yep, i use one aswell and was so pleased with it after my ashdown that i had been using for two years before that. So easy to dial in sounds i actually want and not ones ill settle with. and its cheap which was good for a student like me who has practically no income.
11. I have never heard of Source audio and now i have i wish i had never. There are so many things i want of it.
12. Im been pondering on this a while but havent really done much research After a gig i had two weeks ago playing on a trace elliot. I turned up and it was set in a smiley face and i sort of just left it like that. Didnt know what to do with it. My current amp is a Hartke lh500, simple to set up and play with. But ill be playing at this venue with the same amp again. So whats the best way to go about using one. Im not all that eq "advanced" thats why i like the lh. Ive also been thinking about getting a 31 band (yes i know i cant even use 12) for my rig to help with my dubstep/drumbass idea's when playing with people. Any help guys?? Thanks Sam H
13. Really liked it. Can i asked how you removed the vocals from the original tracks. Or did you get hold of samples of them?
14. http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showt...d.php?t=1417328 Easiest way to show of my gear. I am highly jealous of alot of the rigs on here.
15. This is the only singlecut ive liked so far from what ive seen. Its soo beautiful.
16. http://www.playjazznow.com/bassist.html Ive used this site but you do have to pay to download but its fairly cheap. How are your lessons with Billy/ I had to stop due to my bloody leaving cert. Havent had a chance to really practise.
17. I still havent ordered my expression pedal but was wondering whether the m-audio expression would work both with the moog and my behringer bsy-600 if i got two.
18. Also look into the behringer bsy-600. Its cheap and works very well but doesnt get along to well with distortions/fuzz's etc or too my experimentation it hasnt. Also get a moog LPF. I have both the behringer and the moog running now and there both great for what im doing.
19. Never liked them. Ive played a good few and even once borrowed one for a gig. The neck dive made it incredibly tiring to play for a long time as it put a lot of pressure/weight on my left hand. Secondly and the main point they all sounded like balls. Just thud thud thud. No definition what-so-ever. Fair play to you if you can play them and make them sound good.
20. These are great instruments and vmaxblues is great to deal with. Good luck with sale.
21. I read this as FS/SX precision 3tsb £2500. Couldnt work out why it was so expensive. Nice bass.
22. and it is a stereo lead to the expression pedal? Just like to make sure, the manual isnt all that clear.
23. What kind of expression do most of you use with your Moog LPF's. I recieved mine on friday and have been attempting to use my behringer fcv-100 and a stereo cable with it but it doesnt seem to work all that well. Will i be better of just going for the moog expression pedal.
24. Some more on the bsy-600. I had a couple of hours jamming with a drummer at fairly high volumes. It does work very well, however when i was running overdrive with it and doing my wobs, the wobs were quite often lost. So best used clean but ill do more experimentation with it. The FCV-100, expression pedal, because of the length of the sweep the pedal can do is really tiring to use on your foot but does make you look like your really into it as i had to move my whole body so as not to put a continous strain on my foot. Other wise still very pleased and ill hopefully be jamming with the same drummer and guitar/synth player and see how it turns out. I think my already drained acount is going to take some more hits now i know i can make soudns with pedals . EDIT: I have just bought JoeGarcias Moog LPF so will put up some recordings of the contrasts and similarities i can get from both pedals in the next week.
