Ok, never saw this before, im just 17 a couple of weeks ago. My fender jazz 24, which i stupidly sold, best jazz bass apart from the marcus miller that i have played. Might try and buy another one, one day. My Ibanez which is currently my bass, which im trying to sell to buy a Marcus miller or a Jap fender jazz bass My rig is a Ashdown Mag 600R with a EV606 1x15. Which im also trying to sell. Im deeply unhappy with my current sound. I Really want a 4 string Jazz bass and a warwick corvette, and a 6 string Yamaha and ibanez. 5 strings just seem pointless. And im picking up my double bass on friday at long last replacing my old one. I have no money anymore and desperatly need anothe job.

The Strap buttons can be repaired yourself, take them out, drill the whole, fill wioth cocktail sticks and glue and then let dry, redrill and put your new strap buttons on again. But otherwise, if the price was good i would just get the repairs done, if its a bass youve always youve now got it and can shower your love and attention on it.

Bought my ashdown drive+ for 90 euro their only to realise that its like 40 online, horrible. Have you been in their when the two shop assistants have just been sitting aroundjamming 12 bar blues, and then nothing happens. You cant even ask to try stuff. Its even worse being a 17 year old teenager, they know generally that you arent going to buy that 1500 euro stingray you want to try. I have a horrible time in music shops.

Ashdown, hartke, peavey, eden, and others all make amps that might suit you. Best to go try them all out as soon as possible. Everyone can recommend amps they like and that are good and say stay away from certain ones that they dont like, but we;re not you. Go try them out and see whats in your budget and whether you nedd to spend a bit more. And keep a look out here and see if anything comes up that you like the look of.

I had no import duty or tax on my bow from them when i ordered it.

So this SFT, how is it, i listened to some clips on Youtube and does your DIY one(luke) sound like those clips at all. Damn but it was nice, i may make one this easter if its all good. Currently im making a fuzz faze, enclosure, knobs etc all being handmade aswell, so im hoping it all works out good. Pity i dont have a TIG welder, any one know of any alternatives for welding aluminium.
