He'd just peed up the doorway and taking in the aroma! Ha! I wish! This was started in February and the weather has stopped work on occasion. As for a discount, well I'll have to brush up on my engineering skills first before I start charging anything. W = 3.5m x L = 5.4m x H = 2.5m

Cheers fellas. It's something I've wanted to do for a long time but just haven't had the funds or had been unwilling to invest so heavily into something like this. Then I had an epiphany and thought, well life is too short, let's go for it. You wouldn't be the first to suggest I call it that and I'm giving it some serious consideration. 😇

Roof finally installed. It's a mixture of wood, felt and fibreglass.

Sofits attached

Roofing timbers put into position and tied to the internal block skin.

Second lift completed to final height.

Decided to opt for a cavity wall, better insulation for heat and sound. This is the first lift in progress. Standard rokwool installed in the 100mm cavities

Concrete went down. What a mission! Had to get a concrete pump and route it round a neighbours garden. Took all day to do. As it was drying overnight, the local fox decided to leave a permanent reminder of his visit.

The hardcore went down and was compacted. I've also decided to concrete most of the garden. No more cutting grass for me. Hurrah!!

Marked out the area for the build which will include a path up to the door

If anyone is interested, I've decided to build a recording studio in my back garden. I'm getting fed up with travelling over 150miles in a round trip to the wilds of Essex every time we want to record so am taking the plunge in building my own. So far over the past few weekends there's been some good progress:

My PB20 turned up today. To be honest I wasn't expecting much but it's completely blown me away. I love the matt black paint just but everything about it - the weight, the paint job and even the sound is good - but when you consider the price it really is great. The hardware (tuners and bridge aren't the best) is adequate and is the only slight downside to this absolute bargain of a bass. I actually won this on eBay the other day so I'll be hot-rodding this with the following: Seymour Duncan SPB3 Quarter Pound Pickup (£60) New red pearl scratchplate (£11) Wilkinson tuners (£30 Gotoh bridge (£30) So effectively I'll be getting an above average awesome sounding P-bass for under £200

That's interesting. I'm really after a red tortoiseshell scratchplate but want to see how red the stock one is. it looks pretty dark from photos I've seen, I'm after the lighter red coloured scratchplate.

That's the setup I'm going for too. It always baffled me why Fender didn't come out with a Precision in this colour scheme. It's my ideal colour scheme for a P-bass.

Holy crap, I love the look of this bass so I've just ordered one from thoman. I was looking for a precision so this will fit the bill nicely.

I'm sure he's trying to list it for £900 but is having problems with noughts on his keyboard

If you want a really versitile amp with crystal clear cleans, meaty cunch channel and a superb hi-gain lead channel then it has to be the H&L Trilogy. They're fantastic amps
