    Trying to dry fit a few bits together and can’t get pick up covers to fit through scratch plate, I have tried 3 scratch plates and no way will they fit. It’s just standard precision stuff. Jon

    Is a small split in the neck on a bass just a matter of injecting some glue and clamping it together? I will add a photo later Jon

    Ok can any of the smart derrières out there tell me if it is worth shielding a bass. I am building my first bass and already have a load of copper tape anyway so cost isn’t an issue for once. Does it really make a difference or not? Thanks in advance Jon
