  1. Yamaha THR30II Wireless modelling combo and G10TII receiver Excellent condition. No marks or dings. Includes original packaging for both amp and receiver. Can be completely wireless in that the amp has a built in rechargeable battery so really portable. Also looks nice so you can sneak it in the living room without being an eye sore. Wireless receiver charges by plugging into input jack. Again, another purchase to blame Chris Buck for (YouTube link here). Only using in my small practice room and now have separates which I am defaulting to. Has dedicated bass models and more configuration via app. Can also be used as an audio interface. Looking for £370 collected Orpington BR6 or Hendon NW4. Can post Royal Mail Special Delivery for £28 ish.
  2. Squier FSR Classic Vibe '60s Stratocaster, Olympic White Bought from GAK July this year. Setup at Planet Guitar with new Ernie Ball regular slinky 10s and then played for a grand total of maybe two hours! I blame Chris Buck YouTube videos. Taking up a space in the rack that would be better served by a bass. Pretty much as new. Plastic covering still on scratch plate and trem cover. Shallow scratch at top of headstock which I’ve had a very brief go at getting rid of but still visible under certain light. Pin prick imperfection to body just below bridge. A small imperfection to the top edge of body. Manufacturing defect as such rather than damage, it’s like a dent but no broken paint. Hard to photograph but I’ve tried. Neck pocket paint finish isn’t the best I’ve seen. Will come as it was new with trem arm and tools. Also have original box and packaging so happy to ship at your cost/risk etc. Welcome to collect Orpington BR6 or Hendon NW4. Any inspection welcome. Will throw in two new sets of EB 10s and the Fender strap locks. These are about £370 new. Factor in setup (£40) and strings (£15 for three sets) and I’m looking for £330 £310 collected or plus postage. Will consider near offers for collection.
  3. Aye, fan noise has been the primary frustration in my search for a quiet home use head in a small room. RM800 was decent noise wise, although strange notched volume knob. The Elf I found distractingly loud (the first one I had was silent because the fan wasn’t working 🤦‍♂️). Markbass combo less so but still noticeable. Current Magellan 350 is ticking a lot of boxes and no intentions to look elsewhere.
  4. Traded my RM800 plus some for Brian’s Barefaced One10 and Magellan 350. Excellent comms, prompt postage and fantastic packaging. My RM800 had a crease in the case which I hadn’t noticed so agreed to take back but Brian ended up keeping with some money back. Would happily recommend and buy from again without hesitation. Many thanks!
  5. These are lovely (I have two) and would love to try out the jazz pickup. Decent price too with the mods, good luck!
  6. Markbass New York 121 cab 400w, 8 Ohm, adjustable tweeter Got this as an extension cab for a CMD121P combo I bought new. Sent the combo back due to awful tweeter hiss so this is now surplus. Very good condition. Some of the carpet/felt is a little tired, most noticeably the front top edge. Not really noticeable if you’re stacking the combo on top though. Some very minor marks to the plastic edge guards and Markbass logo. £250 collected from Orpington BR6 £270 posted.
  7. Trace Elliot Transit B Preamp Purchased to go with Elf head and TE 208 cab but now moved these on. Recently acquired Fly Rig so this is now surplus. Excellent condition. Top left corner has a tiny crack in plastic but very minor (I’m being picky but photographed below). Complete with TE carry case, power supply and owners manual but no original box. £230 £210 posted or £220 £200 collected from Orpington BR6.
  8. Frank Itt has a couple. I want one.
  9. You have PM.
  10. Currently at the Bass Gallery in Camden for commission sale with adjusted price for commission and allowance for offers. If serious interest can retrieve it.
  11. I’m already in enough trouble with mine!
  12. +1. Very quiet. Much more so than the TE Elf and quieter than Markbass CMD121P combo I had.
  13. Got carried away in the excitement and purchased this from Musik Productiv for the bargain price of £286 on 14 August. Minimal home use only. Can't get on with the notched volume knob which means that for my volume of playing the first notch is too quiet and the second is too loud. If I lower the gain to compensate I then don't get the needle in the VU meter high enough which is messing with my OCD! Mint, as new condition. Complete with all original packaging, manuals, EU two pin power cable and UK adapter (unused). It's marked as German model but same voltage requirements as UK. Will add some more pictures if needed. I'm after £260 bank transfer or PayPal friends and family. Collection from Orpington BR6 or Hendon NW4 or plus insured postage (around £20 using Parcel Force unless you can advise on a suitable alternative). Also interested in trades for a Genzler Magellan 350 or Barefaced One10 post tolex fix plus funds your way (must be mint and even better with original box etc).
  14. Gak sent me a new unit and the fan is now audible. The old one never had any fan noise so either dodgy fan or controller/sensor. I’m actually strangely impressed it lasted for 45 minutes with no fan at all! I can’t remember what the underside of my old one looked like but the replacement has a label/sticker over the original model designation so I wonder if there was a minor revision along the way?
  15. Nice problem to have! 😂 Have some bits to sell but when they do will get in contact if this is still about!
  16. I personally wouldn’t bother as most people are likely to change the strings for their own preference anyway.
  17. Sold Andy a gig bag in a hassle free transaction. Timely comms and prompt collection. Thanks and sorry I didn’t have more time to chat!
  18. Bought a stunning bass off Ander. Fantastic condition, as described. Speedy comms and happily answered all my stupid questions. Would have no hesitation buying from again. A pleasure, thanks @Ander87!
  19. Fender Road Worn series: https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:5_OQFujOmaIJ:https://www.fender.com/en/intl/electric-basses/jazz-bass/road-worn-60s-jazz-bass/0131810300.html+&cd=5&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=uk&client=safari
  20. I’d rather not unless no “local” interest but I appreciate this limits my market. I’m Camden way tomorrow so am going to take it into the Bass Gallery for consideration of a commission sale. If no interest from that will offer postage.
  21. Ta, GAK collecting at some point for warranty process.
  22. Sadly not being used as defaulting to 4 strings and need to make room for incoming. Purchased from @Paul S back in April, and he had it commissioned from new. Original for sale thread here: Spec: Finished in solid black with BWB 3 ply pickguard (you can see the grain through the paint) Swamp ash body. Bird's eye maple neck and fingerboard with carbon rods in a matte finish. Luminlay side dots. Headstock with simple M logo. Hipshot B style bridge with 17mm spacing. 45mm at the nut. Hipshot HB6C 1/2" tuners. Passive electrics with usual P bass volume and tone. Domed chrome knobs. Delano PC5 AL/M2 pickup. Currently strung with TI flats. Weighs 3.7kg, just over 8lbs Comes with original certificate and spec sheet and generic Chase hardcase. Condition wise I would say this was excellent overall. There's a small scrape to the headstock and a hairline crack to the black finish by the neck pocket along side a small scratch. No other dings but some pick marks to pick guard and swirls on body as you find on a black bass. I've done a quick setup from when I got it and now B string sounds dead which it wasn't before, not entirely sure what I've done! Also can't quite get the treble pickup high enough (3mm) so either needs new foam or my action is too high. Offered here before it goes off for a commission sale somewhere. Looking for £900 collected from Orpington BR6. Can also be collected from Hendon NW4 but you'd need to bring your own amp if you wanted to play. Don't really want to post and not looking for any trades. Happy to drive up to an hour from Orpington. Any inspection welcome.
  23. Thanks all. Still waiting to hear back from retailer or Peavey directly. I don’t recall ever hearing the fan so sounds like that’s the problem!
  24. Sold some strings to Anth. Prompt payment, great comms. Many thanks!
