  1. 2022 Fender MiM Player Precision - Tidepool/Maple. 8.4lbs on my scales. EMG Geezer Butler PHZ pickups. Solderless install but earth has been connected by a "permanent" push in connector. Excellent condition. Small mark to headstock shown in photos. Comes with Northwest Guitars black pick guard as photographed. Original pick guard, pickups and wiring included. Strung with Thomastik Infield Jazz Flats. No case. Model info here: https://serialnumberlookup.fender.com/product/0149802513 Purchased from @Kevsy71, original advert here: Edit: sold elsewhere, ta.
  2. 2016 Fender MiM Standard Precision - Arctic White/Rosewood Excellent condition. The only things to note are there's a couple of very small marks to headstock and a couple of very small marks to the bottom edge. There's a small paint chip on the body of the neck pocket, it is hard to see due to the colour. I have tried to capture these in the photos. Lovely dark Rosewood board and the white is creamy like Olympic White to my eyes. Fender Custom Shop CS62 pickups (box included though it’s a bit tatty) Wiring upgraded to USA specs, to a KiOgon loom (CTS pots, Switchcraft Jack, 0.047uf capacitor), with 1/4” chrome knobs to fit the pots Solderless loom, but has since had the bridge wires soldered on Does not come with a case or original wiring/pickups 9lbs on my scales. Purchased from @dmc79 who has done a far better job than I will on details, original advert here: Model details here: https://serialnumberlookup.fender.com/product/0146100580
  3. Sorry to hear you've lost the love for bass. Looks like you can free up some cash for other endeavours; I recommend motorcycling as an alternative money and time pit!
  4. With the caveat that I’m not the most experienced player and certainly not at loud volumes, I have one and think it’s great. I’ve been through a few different home setups including Genzler Magellan 350 “combo”, TE Elf + 208/Barefaced One10, PJB BG-75, Yamaha THR30ii, Ashdown RM800 and an Orange LBT. I wanted something for home that would be silent (I loved the Elf but the fan noise drove me nuts) and cover everything without the need for pedals - comp, drive, effects, bluetooth playback from my phone/ipad - the only thing it’s missing is a tuner. I’ve recently started playing in some rehearsal spaces where we can turn up a bit, we were hitting 110db and master wasn’t at half way. Certainly more power/volume than I’d ever need. To my ears it sounds brilliant. The only thing that lets it down is how bloody heavy it is, I wouldn’t want to be lugging it around very far. So much so that I’m considering something lighter to take to rehearsals such as Rumble or Ampeg combo with a preamp/multieffects as needed. But I wouldn’t need both so the Katana would probably go - a shame!
  5. Annnnnnd welcome to GAS! That 414 looks very tidy!
  6. Yamaha BB735a Dark Coffee Sunburst 9.8lbs Excellent condition. Complete with original Yamaha gig bag. Some super, super light swirling to body which can only be seen in certain light (can probably polish out) and some play marks to the pick guard. Neck has no marks or damage and is surprisingly nice to play despite any preconceptions as to the painted finish (I can’t do gloss/sticky necks). No dings or missing finish anywhere. Only thing to note is the E string nut slot has been cut a little low (in my opinion). Don’t know if it had heavier gauge strings on before but I’ve added a small piece of paper in the nut slot to raise the string slightly. It was sold to me as having a “professional” set up … Selling as I’ve found 5 string bass nirvana with my Stingray, ahem, for now. Not really after any trades unless you have a 4 string PJ rosewood/ebony or satin maple board, ideally P body with J neck (jazz special, deluxe, Charvel San-Dimas Pro Mod, Duff McKagan sig etc etc) but I’m particularly fussy so a straight sale preferred. Edit: sold elsewhere, ta!
  7. 3 Leaf Audio Proton mk4 envelope filter. Bought this October 23 from here but unfortunately have barely used. Classic case of needing to spend more time playing rather than buying things. Has some mild oxidation marks which I gather are common with this raw/natural metal finish. Looking for £330 posted which is what I paid. Knock £5 off for collection from Orpington BR6.
  8. It’s too pretty to butcher!
  9. You sir, are a connoisseur of fine basses; you tempt me with everything you list!
  10. Bought a rather spiffing P bass from Dave. Prompt comms and shipping, well packaged and exactly as described. Looks and plays lovely; top banana!
  11. Lovely, fantastic weight and price. I had one of these in a different colour and should have never have moved it on. Great basses!
  12. Oooft, out of my league (and sadly price range) but simply stunning. A tasty player too, indulge us with some vids!
  13. Thank goodness. Nowhere to hide it but so local it would have been rude not to!
  14. Potentially stupid question - just checking the pickguard is screwed in?
  15. Matching 5 string @AndyTravis? https://bassbros.co.uk/product/yamaha-bb415-2/
  16. My digital scales are showing 10lbs with both batteries (it may be a smidge under as they only do .2 increments and it flicks between 9.8 and 10).
  17. Yup, Sadowsky pre so both. Push/pull active/passive preamp bypass.
  18. The clear-out continues ... 2021 Fender Player Plus Jazz Bass - Aged candy apple red. Excellent condition, two very, very small marks on back of body, one which I can't even photograph. Other than that it's pretty immaculate. Would benefit from some cavity shielding, much like every active Fender I've had. No gig bag but have suitable packaging materials for shipping.
